Ricardo Slawers, our much-loved head baker at the La Motte Bakery, has just become Africa’s first Bread Sommelier! “Bread has become much more to me than a slice on a side plate”, says Ricardo who has just been awarded the title of Bread Sommelier by the National Bakers Academy in Weinheim (Germany).
