It’s all about the bag! @lamottewine celebrates spring and all the beauty that comes from the La Motte garden - a bunch of flowers, veggies from the garden, beauties from the farm shop, botanical bread from their bakery and a bottle of rosé! Such a clever idea to pack all your favourites in this bag available from the La Motte Spens - as a gift or, take it off to market!

What a beautiful and diverse country we live in filled with many amazing coffee shops and restaurants! We tasted the eclair and choc chip cookie. We will definitely be back!

At the Art Basel wine fair in Paris, this new monumental piece by Jeff Koon, showing South African wines corks.
Price on application.

I always told you that South African winemakers are artists.

Thanks Helen for the video.

Brood en wyn by La Motte

“Kom breek brood by ons bakkery,” nooi La Motte Wine Estate se span.
Kuns wat my inspireer. My hande juk. Dit is altyd hoe ek weet dit was mooi, wanneer ek wil skryf, of verf.
Veral wanneer jy omring is deur kuns, argitektuur of natuurskoon.
Wynproe. Die La Motte Varietal Glass-specific Wine Tasting.
Tiaan Jacobs het ons bedien. Maar dit was meer as bedien.
Die Pierneef Sauvignon Blanc steel my hart, en my palet.
Dankie La Motte. Mag ons asseblief weer kom kuier?

Life is really simple; but we insist on making it complicated. A few good quality, fresh ingredients, created and chosen with care and intent, can come together in a wholesome, yet sophisticated offering
in the right hands.

Those hands can be found at the @lamottewine Artisanal Bakery and Café. Each loaf starts its slow journey to perfection under the guidance of master baker Markus Färbinger. With a continuous flow of baked breads
and loaves leaving the wood-fired oven, you can only imagine the sights and smells that fills the Bakery. Simplicity done elegantly.

Keeping the seasons in mind, these humble breads are then turned into plates of pure joy - including their signature dark chocolate croissant served with a dark chocolate spread, generous farm breakfasts, salads, open sandwiches and some old-time favourite hot
lunches, enjoyed in the fragrant embrace of the bakery itself, or in the courtyard in the expansive gardens.

An invitation to return to the simplicity of life awaits you at the Bakery. The aroma of a cup of freshly brewed coffee, grassy lawns for the kids to play make-believe on, the rustle of leaves overhead, the taste of oven-fresh bread and rich butter. Honest, slow conversations
in a sundrenched courtyard, reminding us of the simple pleasures of life, bringing together everything that makes life as eye-closingly delicious as a slice of sourdough bread.
