To paint alot, that was my 2023 affirmation. I wanted to truly feel like an artist again. Then, because of my amazing team taking so much ‘work’ off of my plate, my kids being at an age where I found a tad more harmony between Mama Lana and Biz Lana, and with a touch of magic…I was able to make that happen!!!

I illustrated a 30 page children’s book, did paintings for clients I’ve adored for years, created our biggest holiday line ever, and designed new products like gift bags and kids pjs.

My heart and ‘painting hand’ are feeling overwhelmingly grateful...especially to you, cause without you it would just be me and and my #1 fan (my mom) with a stack full of paintings. Thank you for all your fun comments, great ideas, photos and wanting to purchase my products when you have a zillion other choices out there. I so appreciate all of it!

Can’t wait to see and share with you what 2024 will bring. And for now, I’m still in reflecting mode and just peeking out to say HAPPY NEW YEAR! And a big big THANKS! by @lanasshop

Three friends walked into a bar…and ended up opening a gift shop!

That’s (almost) the story behind @thetabletopdc, a colorful, joy filled Takoma Park shop started by three friends more than 20 years ago. And yes, they’re still friends 😊

They fill their shelves with the BEST mix of gifts for foodies, cool kids, puzzlers + you. It means so much to have Lana’s Shop designs among them!

If you’re local to Maryland, GO. If you’re not, please give @thetabletopdc a follow!

It’s SHOP SUNDAY!!

Meet @kcouray! The sweetest family-run shop tucked right into the beautiful San Juan Mountains 🏔️

Khristopher's Culinaire been part of the Ouray community since 2007 and their shelves are filled with all sorts of fun finds from local artists. A few fun facts. Owners Khris + Janet are HUGE Liverpool soccer fans. Their giant banner is even part of the town scavenger hunt! And they have a life-sized Leg Lamp from A Christmas Story in the window 😂

We’re so happy to have Lana’s Shop on their shelves! If you’re ever nearby, pop in and say hi. And go give @kcouray a follow and some love from us.

Isn’t it soooo fun to see real mail arrive?
Pass on that happy feeling.

I just got a card from my paper pal, the talented @morganswankstudio, and it made my whole day. Now I keep it close by for little smiles + as a reminder of how important girlfriends are.

What was the last card you got, and how did it make you feel? by @lanasshop

SHOP SUNDAY 🧁 Georgetown Cupcake!

I mean…look at these little works of art!! Sisters Katherine + Sophie opened @georgetowncupcake on Valentine’s Day in 2008, inspired by their grandma...and have been making the most gorgeous cupcakes ever since.

Having our Birthday Cupcake cards in their bakery is THE COOLEST 🥹 I’ve had so many of you spot them there and send me the sweetest notes + photos!

So happy for all their success (TV show! Best-selling cookbooks! Happiness in cupcake form shipped all over the country!) And since working with them, I can tell it’s all come from a whole lot of hard work + sincere kindness in the way they do business.

You must must go next time you’re nearby. It’s a true DC destination! 🧁 taken in Georgetown, D.C. by @lanasshop
