Reflections on my time in Kenya take many paths.. This #ThrowbackThursday is devoted to Solai. Spread over roughly 7 acres, this will be the home to @ascendeducationecosystem . It meant everything to finally be on that soil with my @lovmovement family and get my hands dirty. To take in the land and envision what is coming from all the work we have been doing… In recent weeks people reached out in regards to this trip, and some have made references to it being life changing.. While I respect the sentiment for me this trip evokes no change.. This trip was life affirming 🙏🏾❤️🌍💧🌱📚 Follow | Share | Donate @lovmovement @ascendeducationecosystem • • • 📸: @jdixon_shots taken in Solai by @lancedbush

7 Days of MFAs day one - Lance D Bush. I don't know if it came first in Lance's acting or if it's just the way he is, but he fully embodies a trait my favorite directing teacher in school (Peter Larlham) drilled into us at the end of a semester. "Don't just be up there waiting for your turn to speak like 'bullshit bullshit bullshit *my line* bullshit bullshit' You have to listen and respond." Lance is *listening* and that is such a gift to have on stage but even more so in life. taken in San Diego, California by @lancedbush

Meet Group 38 — and celebrate their work at the 2026 Graduate Acting Showcase. RSVP today to reserve your seat in Los Angeles or New York City (link in bio). Lance Bush (he/him) @lancedbush AEA Lance is an actor, writer and martial artist that calls both Los Angeles, CA and Dallas, TX home. Before the Covid Pandemic, Lance was pursuing acting opportunities alongside growing a non-profit and a professional career in Mixed Martial Arts. The Pandemic shifted Lances focus and he returned to school - receiving his BA in Liberal Arts, with a Minor in Theatre, from The New School (NY). After graduating, Lance worked on several commercial and short film opportunities and performed at theatres like Mabou Mines and Playwrights Horizons. Looking to invest more into his craft, Lance decided to continue his training and pursue an MFA. Now a graduate of The Old Globe/USD Shiley Graduate Theatre Program, he is excited to dive back into the world. Lance believes deeply that this work is a service, and is fascinated with storytelling’s ability to entertain, inspire and hopefully bring us closer together. Off set or stage, you will most likely find Lance on a run or training Muay Thai, then relaxing by cooking a meal to watch a movie or listen to some jazz. — LOS ANGELES 📅 Monday, September 14 🕐 1:00 PM & 7:00 PM 📍 Garry Marshall Theatre 4252 W. “Vengeance is in my heart, death in my hand, Blood and revenge are hammering in my head” Aaron TITUS ANDRONICUS I could ramble on and on about the gifts and challenges of Aaron, and the rare opportunity to tell a story like Titus. I’ll simply say I’m so proud of my cohort and the mountain we all climbed together. Thank you JP for your vision and your trust.
