Guys, I’d argue October is THE most jam-packed month for things to do with kids in MetroWest. 🍂🎃 There’s so much happening that the hardest part is deciding what to fit in between naps!

Did you know? We grow and sell two varieties of eucalyptus. A beautiful addition to any tablescape or a refreshing touch when hung in the shower for a spa-like experience.

Come by to grab seconds tomatoes for just $1/pound. Just in time for weekend cooking!

Seconds tomatoes may have cracks, be extra ripe, or have other imperfections, but they’re still perfect for sauce, soup, stew, and more!

Land’s Sake firewood is now on sale. Sold by the half cord. Delivered in October & November. Limited quantities! Follow the link in our bio to purchase yours today.

Land’s Sake works with the Weston Conservation Commission to thoughtfully harvest firewood on town conservation land. Harvested cords are naturally seasoned over the spring and summer, then sold and delivered to Weston and neighboring towns in the fall. by @landssake

In August our Family Kitchen Helpers made tomato tartlets using our tomatoes & herbs and ricotta available at the farmstand.

Bring a bit of sunshine inside with our pick-your-own flowers. Sunflowers will be in bloom for a few more weeks!

Grab a pre-picked bouquet or venture out to the field to pick-your-own during farmstand hours.

Staying local for Labor Day weekend? Here are a few toddler-friendly ways to make the most of the long weekend… without needing an elaborate itinerary. ☀️

🐐 A late-summer farm morning: Land’s Sake: low pressure, toddler-sized picnic tables, animals to see, and tons of space to wander around. My daughter is also obsessed with the swing they have! I believe they’re closed Sunday of LDW, so be sure to check their hours.

🦢 A toddler-friendly Boston adventure: The Public Garden
My daughter loved watching the Swan Boats and seeing the carousel in the Common. Pack a picnic or stop somewhere on Boylston for lunch like we did.

🛝 Playgrounds worth the drive: Haskell Field in Sudbury + The Cove in Newton
Both are playgrounds where my toddler could easily spend a couple of hours. Plus, they both have real bathrooms, which is such a game changer when you want to stay awhile!

🎶 Live music where little ones can roam: Lookout Farm
My daughter loves running around, listening to music, and playing while my husband and I can have a beer or cider and take it all in. Plus, there’s the tractor play area for a little extra fun before or after!

🍓 All the farm feels… and endless activities: Ward’s Berry Farm
This popular farm in Sharon truly has something for every age, from the sandbox and bounce pad to animals, ice cream, sandwiches, hayrides, and more. They also offer pick-your-own if you want to bring home some fresh berries!

🌧️ A children’s museum or rainy-day activity: Boston Children’s Museum or Discovery Museum
Both are perfect for filling an entire morning. Discovery Museum has its amazing Discovery Woods outdoor space, while Boston Children’s Museum is right on the water.

🍦 An easy, sweet ice cream outing: Truly Yogurt in Wellesley
How else would you end summer than with ice cream for the whole family? We always love Truly’s for a local ice cream or frozen yogurt outing.
