I remember this question was an important one when we used to all be on #langtwt yapping about languages all day. It’s a silly one and it doesn’t even really matter what you answer, but you can still share it if you want to 😜 by @langatu__

Polyglot Gathering 2026 ❤️

It is, at this point, THE trip of the year. The most important one, the most inspiring one, and the best one.

All the years are different but every time I come back home I feel this sadness of leaving a place where people just get you. We all might feel seen to some extend in our lives but definitely not to the point the PG is doing.

Eternally grateful for this event to exist, for the people who go there and for the energy it gives me. 🫶🫶 taken in Brno, Ceská Republika by @langatu__

Since last year, the Polyglot Gathering is THE trip of the year. It’s the most important event for me because it connects me more to myself and to others through languages. It is the only place on Earth where people won’t ever tell you „Can we stop talking about languages?”

This year was also the first year when I presented a topic as a speaker. Together with @marilenium we spoke about minoritized languages through Catalan and Galician!

I got to meet many of my friends, met for the first time some I didn’t know in person (shoutout to @lizzzitro and @chiara.klara.claire!) and definitely missed many interesting conversations because we were almost 1000 people there!

Also, obviously got some books, I was not gonna disappoint y’all!

Until next year! 🫶 taken in Mendelova univerzita v Brně by @langatu__
