[ENG] Do you know something?
We are very excited to be building a friendship with Enric Larreula, Catalana language activist, prolific writer and language teacher, who is the author of our Holy Grail, the book "Dolor de llengua" (language grief). On Saturday, we (Kuba and Mariona) went to visit him in his house and we enjoyed thorough conversations on our language biography, the retreats, the beginnings of his activism, the meetings he has helped organise between language nerds in his environment, the success of the colonialist project, the mental colonisation and the "mental colonisation in turn" (when people from places that we Europeans colonised migrate here and keep on expanding the colonialist narratives), the injustice, the rage, the acceptance, being okay with the little seed we sow in the world... It was just beautiful, and we hope it is just the beginning of a fruitful collaboration. For many years of Enric Larreula!

It's time to communicate what has been incubating these last few months. The project had reached a point of no return, and it was very difficult for me to accept it.
I sent a newsletter in the spring, communicating: "The place from which I had been organising no longer works for me.
I have always felt that you have to pedal upstream to influence the world on the discourse of minoritised languages (and this is usually the case in the world of activism and social justice), and I think I had believed it too much. This in my story makes a lot of sense. Making the problems of the world my own, making an effort even if I am exhausted... now it's time to rest, and stop pushing something that doesn't work.
Maybe I don't need to know what to do now. Maybe this awareness has to come in its own time"
And so it has been. The project is now moving towards new, shorter, more affordable formats. We are two now, we are learning patience, and are discovering new paths together!
. . . .

🌾 The project of therapeutic activities regarding language grief is growing! Up until some months ago it had been just me, Mariona Miret, steering the boat alone, and now Kuba Wysocki @langatu__ @revitaproject_ is joining.
