HISTORY REPEATS. LEGACY GROWS. 🏆🏆

Langley United has made history as the first club ever to capture back-to-back BCPL Men’s Championships!

By defending our provincial title, we have officially secured our ticket back to the national stage for the 2027 TELUS Canadian Championship.

In our Centennial year, this historic achievement is proof of a vision decades in the making. You do not have to leave your community to chase your biggest soccer dreams. The pathway to the national stage is right here in Langley.

This victory belongs to our entire community: our incredible players, dedicated families, tireless volunteers, and local partners.

Langley United has done it again!

With a clinical, dominant 0-2 victory on the road against Nanaimo United FC this weekend, our Men’s side has officially captured the league title for the second consecutive year! With one game to go next weekend vs Burnaby FC.

To go into a tough environment and secure a clean-sheet victory to lock up the championship shows the absolute grit, talent, and heart of this squad said Azad Palani LUSA head coach. We are officially back-to-back champions of the province! By defending our crown, we have officially punched our ticket to the 2027 TELUS Canadian Championship for the second year in a row!

We remain focussed and one game at a time we would love to hoist the trophy next weekend with a win at Willoughby Stadium when Burnaby FC are our visitors.

Congratualtions to Pak Tung Tsang from our LUSA women’s BCPL team on being selected to represent Hong Kong at the up coming Asian Games tournament in Nagoya, Japan.

The Asian Games is the second largest multi-sport event in the world, just behind the Olympics! Her team will be playing against China, The Philippines, and Uzbekistan.

COACH OF THE YEAR. 🏆🔥

Azad Palani. What a gaffer.

Winning the BC Premier League in Langley United’s inaugural season was already special. But doing it again the following year? That says everything about what is being built. 🏆🏆

For Palani, it has never been only about winning trophies. A major part of his work is developing players, mentoring them and preparing them to reach the next level in their careers.

He also brings experience from the professional game, having spent time in the Canadian Premier League as an assistant coach in Vancouver, and that experience continues to show in the environment he has created at Langley.

Two seasons. Two championships. And plenty of players continuing to develop along the way.

Our Halftime Football BC Premier League Men’s Coach of the Year is Azad Palani. 👑🏆

ENTRAÎNEUR DE L’ANNÉE. 🏆🔥

Azad Palani.

👑🏆 taken in Langley, British Columbia by @langleyunited_bcpl
