Personal update: Seven months ago I adopted this 7-year old angel. She arrived with a myriad of surprise health challenges along with heaps of love and lessons. I knew before I even met her in person that she was the little one I’d been waiting for; on my way to see her for the first time I thought, these are last moments you won’t yet know your dog. Behold: Margot Snow (the middle name is a long story, but make no mistake that her first namesake’s surname is Tenenbaum (just look at that blonde and her eyeliner!)). Thanks to @truenorthrescuemission and @diamondintheruffnyc and @adammaclean for all you did to bring her into my life and heart. 😇🐾💖🕊️ by @laracocken

Emerging from my Insta-break to post my favorite photo of the inimitable Diane Keaton. To say the character, and the film, ‘Annie Hall’ made a huge impression on me (and my closet) as a teenager would be a monumental understatement. Diane, thank you for the “la-di-da-la-la” of it all. Boy oh boy, she always gave herself permission to just simply be … herself. ✨✨✨

You’ve got just a couple more weeks left to see the magical NOAH DAVIS retrospective at the @barbicancentre in London. I was lucky enough to get to spend an afternoon with the dreamy paintings last month on a flying visit and can’t recommend it enough. Enjoy! ✨✨✨

First time making the trek to Maastricht for the original TEFAF art fair, which spans 7,000 (!!) years of history. Bouncing from Books of Hours 📚 to Dan Flavin 💡 to Suits of Armor 🛡️ to Warhol 🥫 was just … wild. Throw in some jetlag and champagne and oysters and what you’ve got there is one mind/eye-blowing art experience! So glad I went. (Too many individual photos to post to even post ANY besides the flowers!) Now back to Paris for more art (and 🥂 bien sûr). 👩🏼‍🎨🇫🇷🥐 taken in Maastricht, Netherlands by @laracocken
