As a member of the Art Advisory Board for the Coalition for the Homeless, I’m thrilled to share the invitation to ARTWALK NY 2026, a gala dinner supporting the Coalition’s lifesaving programs for homeless New Yorkers. This year’s ARTWALK NY will begin with a vibrant cocktail party featuring a silent auction of unique works of art created directly on fine bone-china plates by world-renowned artists. The evening will continue with dinner and a program honoring artists KAWS and Julia Chiang, as well as philanthropic honoree Rich Kleiman. All proceeds from the event will support the Coalition for the Homeless’ 12 direct-service programs, which provide critical assistance to thousands of homeless and at-risk individuals and families throughout New York City. I hope you’ll be able to join me on October 29th for what promises to be a wonderful evening. Link in bio!

One of my favorite and most meaningful events of the year is ARTWALK, benefitting the Coalition for the Homeless. Congratulations to @laracocken and the Art Advisory Board for their leadership in raising much-needed funds for an organization that shows up every single day for homeless New Yorkers. The juxtaposition of a glamorous evening supporting this cause is always a bit surreal — and yet it reminds me that collective action and abundance go hand in hand. We keep going, we keep gathering, we keep telling the story, and we mobilize whatever resources we can. If you’d ever like to join Lara and me at the Grand Central Food Program, please reach out. The Coalition needs our support — not just in dollars, but in roll-up-your-sleeves time, too.

ARTWALK NY is back! Please join me on November 16 @powerhousearts to honor @jennyholzerstudio and raise critical funds for @nyhomeless. The evening, presented by @maxmara, will have a fabulous silent and live auction that will be on @artsy Music by @thelinabradford. Our VIP hour will feature food generously provided by @viacarota and live auction featuring works by Jenny Holzer, @edruschaofficial @kennyscharf @stanley.whitney @alexkatzofficial @willcottonnyc @darcmennis @sophieelgort @rauschenbergfoundation @keithharingfoundation and many others! Your support this year is especially important, as the Coalition is now in a very heated battle to stop the Mayor and Governor from gutting New York’s legal Right to Shelter – a right that the Coalition established in court 42 years ago. Since 1981, this right has given hundreds of thousands of individuals a way off the streets. Denying the Right to Shelter will result in a huge surge in the number of people sleeping on NYC streets, exposed to the elements and the Coalition needs our help to help! As an new member of the ARTWALK Art Advisory Board, I heartily recommend viewing and bidding on great works of art that directly benefit the vital efforts of the Coalition for the Homeless.
