i’m officially back in my actor era and signed across the board with @abstracttalentagency (!!)

stepping back into this part of myself after a little hiatus feels super new and exciting. i’ve been zoned in on music and online content for a good five-ish years now but acting is actually where it alllll began. and don’t worry- more music is still in the works.

here’s to the next chapter!🥂

i have some HUGE news… my invisalign journey is complete. for the first time in my LIFE (!!) 🦷

twenty. years. an expander first. over 100 trays (i want to guess closer to 200). over 4 sets of refinements. an ill-fitting retainer. an “almost done” phase, then covid set me back another few years. but i’m officially DONE!!!!

if you need any advice on this, i’m probably in the top 1% longest of invisalign users. i got you.

first tip: as a kid, don’t be afraid of losing your baby teeth. you’ll be cursing your mouth forever 😂

parents, if you have a middle schooler/teenager with some serious straightening needed… probably just go for braces. it’ll be over a looooot faster. this “just got my braces off” transformation should’ve been posted for me back in high school 😅

THAT’S ALL FOR NOW I’M GONNA GO CELEBRATE WITH LOTS OF EATING/DRINKING THINGS WITHOUT HAVING TO TAKE MY TEETH OUT BYE 👋

you know that ONE thing that catches you totally off guard when you’re grieving and you start crying and crying and can’t stop?

for me it was cutting a mango. it was the most unexpected thing i could think of that would make that happen.

but my grandma used to cut me a mango every single day when i got home from school. i love fruit a lot and it’s the hardest fruit to cut and she knew that and did it for me anyways. so decades later came the mango song. 🥭

huge thanks to @thesongwritingschool and @itsbobgarrett for giving me a safe space to work on this one. 🧡 taken in Burbank, California by @laralafferty
