Planned Parenthood is back in New Orleans, this time under Planned Parenthood Great Plains.

After closing its Louisiana facilities in 2025, Planned Parenthood has reopened its doors in New Orleans under a different regional affiliate.

New Orleans does not need Planned Parenthood.

Women and families deserve access to comprehensive healthcare and support, and we remain committed to ensuring that Louisiana taxpayers do not foot the bill, directly or indirectly, for Planned Parenthood's abortion-related activities and advocacy.

Our commitment to protecting unborn children, supporting mothers, and advocating for transparency and accountability in the use of taxpayer dollars remains unchanged.

We had a great day at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Expo! ❤️

Our team spent the day connecting with college students, sharing educational resources, and having conversations about the dignity of human life and the importance of supporting both mothers and their unborn children.

Events like these give us the opportunity to meet young people where they are, answer questions, and encourage the next generation to become informed and engaged in the pro-life movement.

At 39 weeks, a baby in the womb is about the size of a small pumpkin.

Around 7 1/2 pounds and nearly 20 inches long from head to heel.

At this point, a baby is fully formed, fully human, and waiting to take their first breath.

Every stage of development tells the same story: life doesn't begin at birth. It begins at fertilization.
