Join Larry D for a nostalgic ride through rolling tech grooves & punchy 00’s electro house ⚡️ Fittingly, the mix opens with a percussive cut from a record picked up during our dig with Larry at @safarisrecordshack 🙉 After warming us up with soulful foot-steppers, the mix finds another gear with ‘Combinaca’, igniting a more driving stretch that includes Inland Knights’ Do Your Thing - another Safari score. Now streaming on YouTube - link in our bio 🔗 Outtake ID’s: 1. ‘Do Your Thing’ (Inland Knights) 👉 ’Make Em Shake It’ [Isolée Remix] (Wahoo) 2. ‘Love [Dub]’ (Mic Mills) 👉 ‘It’s Been a Long Time’ [Swag’s Feelin’ This Way Dub] (2nd Shift) 3. ‘Combinaca’ [DJ Freestyle Downunder Dub] (Pascal Cordoba) 👉 ‘Frustrated’ (The Organ Grinder) 4. ’Make Em Shake It’ 👉 ‘Shake It’ [Cut up Club Dub] (Lorenz Rhode) 5. ‘Shake It’ 👉 ‘Hold Your Head Up’ [Soulwhacked Mix] (Arthur Agent) 6. ‘Do It Proper’ [King Roc Remix] (Chicken Lips) 7. ‘Lifted Soul’ (Community Recordings) taken in Perth, Western Australia by @larry__d_

The hot tip from Larry D: if it’s spelled a little differently.. you’re probably onto something ⚡ Episode 7 has arrived! We’re back at old faithful @safarisrecordshack - where Larry’s on the hunt for electro-leaning house to throw on the platter in his upcoming mix 👀 With deep & soulful turns along the way, this dig reflects the sounds that continue to shape someone who’s become a mentor to many.. Next up! A guest we’ve been keen to line up for a while.. and someone who needs no introduction: @larry__d_ ‼️ This platform wouldn’t be where it is without Larry’s guidance, so it’s fitting & special to feature him. An important part of the Perth scene, he’s just celebrated 5 years of his DJ Degree (250 students strong), all while leading RTRFM collective @theroundsradio 🪩 We caught up with him at @safarisrecordshack - where he landed a mixed bag centred around deep, driving electro cuts - including this special pressing of Inland Knights ‘High Rise’ EP 👌 A fitting tease of what’s to come.. stay tuned! taken in Safari's Record Shack by @larry__d_

Channeling full blown party power, get ready to be transported to the months of unrelenting heat and giddy excitement 🖤🥵 From Larry......It was an absolute privilege to be given the platform and canvas of RTR2 to reminisce on an astoundingly fulfilling season spent with so many talented and incredible people, who collectively share so much love for this amazing place we call home. Endless love to my guests and dear friends Pete, Aly & Sacha, to everyone who commits effort and energy to organise the intricacies of dance parties in Boorloo through the chaos that is Summer and to the punters at large, throwing it down dance after dance. What a joy. Tune in and feel the remnants of the summer months ❤️ by @larry__d_

Summer in Review Ep. 3 w/ Larry D and Pussymittens - A Blazing Abode In this episode we’re in the Wheatbelt, in Kulin, where dust settles in your sinuses and bass bumps through your breast all week long at Blazing Swan. This mix was recorded on the Saturday night after a re-energising effigy burn, our fourth day running amok - and for the next two hours we’re at Abode thanks to Vishnu and Nathan who immaculately designed the space, sound and lighting for punters and sound nerds alike. Larry D holds it down from Midnight til 1am with bumping house, disco influences and progressive tech - before Pussymittens ramps it up in the second hour til 2am with tech classics and house party belters 🚀 by @larry__d_
