Connections Nightclub could not be a more perfect space for Disco Forever! Opening back in 1975, this hallowed dancefloor would have been playing many of the tracks you’ll hear at our event at the very time they were released!

It is widely held to be true that Connections is indeed the longest running discotheque in the whole southern hemisphere, and certainly the longest running LGBTQIA+ nightclub.

As you dance this Saturday, hold every person who has ever danced here in your heart, and lose yourself in the euphoria of disco…

The Rounds, RTRFM, Dancing in Space & Si Paradiso present

THE ROUNDS FUNDRAISER

All proceeds go to RTRFM 92.1

From the nucleus of The Loft, through essential spaces like The Gallery and the Paradise Garage, and onto countless dance floors across the globe, there’s an unmistakable sound—and a feeling that comes with it.

A propulsive groove. An invitation to move.

It’s never exactly the same, but you know it when you hear it. Soul and funk evolve into disco. Disco glides into boogie. Boogie hardens into house. Italo disco, punk funk, and countless other strains weave through the story. The Rounds celebrates these moments in dance music history, while keeping an ear on what’s still to come.

Ready the smoke machine. Dim the lights.

It’s time to do The Rounds.

Featuring some of The Rounds’ finest selectors:
