Creamcake returns to #Tropez’s three-month art programme PRÉSENT at Sommerbad Humboldthain this Sunday, 2-6pm!🍦

The day begins with a DJ set by Creamcake’s very own co-founder, #Larry. Larry transforms human expression into an absurd spectacle of sound, deploying linguistic elements not as communication but as raw emotional force.

The Berlin-based interdisciplinary platform brings together artists whose practices move across intimacy, embodiment, fiction, and sound. The afternoon continues with a performance by #TeoAlaRuona and a live set by #EddingtonAgain, unfolding against the backdrop of an open-air public pool—a space where bodies gather, undress, and move.

Creamcake returns to #Tropez’s three-month art program at Sommerbad Humboldthain, taking up residence across two Sunday afternoons in July from 2–6pm.

On July 5, #TeoAlaRuona presents "Play Overlay", accompanied by live music from #EddingtonAgain and a DJ set by Larry.

On July 19, #BarnettCohen presents "tactics of practice", followed by #KristaPapista‘s performance "Heartmode Tsiftetelli" and a DJ set by CharacterDJ.

Each afternoon unfolds as a program of performance, live music, and DJ sets set against the backdrop of an open-air public pool, where bodies gather, undress, and move.

#Volksbühne and Creamcake are pleased to invite you to two intimate concerts by #BeverlyGlennCopeland & #damselElysium on April 13.

Beverly Glenn-Copeland’s musical work is a celebration of love in all its forms, personal, spiritual. Across more than five decades of music, performance, and composition, he has explored the tenderness, wisdom, and connection that love carries, using voice and sound as instruments of care and devotion.

damsel Elysium explores the connections between the natural world and spirit world through metamorphic propositions. Working with alchemical elements, damsel will take us on a journey through shadow work and movement activation, eventually transforming self and space into “Other Light” revealing the world we do not see.

This concert evening becomes a space for inhabiting the spirit of togetherness, acknowledging that the depth of our grief in a time of collapse exists even more fully when we are able to love. by @larrydocus

What a pleasure it was to be in China to open our exhibition 𝐓𝐄𝐂𝐇𝐍𝐎 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐋𝐃𝐒. Huge thanks for the invitation @macaartcenter & @goetheinstitutchina, and to all the sweet people who helped me get the Labubu, assisted me with Alipay, danced to my DJ set and of course for baking a Creamcake 🎶✨☁️

@larrydocus, co-founder of Creamcake, will open the third edition of “Spätschicht“ on 7 August at 19:00 with a DJ set ✨

Larry’s sets are intended to create human expression transformed into an absurd spectacle of sound, with linguistic elements that do not communicate but are aimed instead at raw emotional effect.
In addition to the DJ set, on this evening you can also look forward to a screening by CHEAP, performances by New Noveta and Keioui Keijaun Thomas and concerts by Evita Manji and otay:onii.

#NewNoveta, #KeiouiKeijaunThomas, Larry, #otayonii, and #EvitaManji take part in the free and immersive interdisciplinary event that concerns itself with presence.

Visitors are invited to linger, dance, and observe, or become part of the action in a circular scenography that envelops music, performance, and installation.

Opposites meet in this orbit—hard and soft, pain and pleasure, proximity and distance, activity and passivity, comfort and discomfort, sunrise and sunset.

CREAMCAKE is offering a Curatorial Fellowship from August to November 2023 with possibility of extension.

Negotiating the point of convergence in electronic music, contemporary art and digital technologies, the Berlin-based interdisciplinary platform organizes exhibitions, performances, concerts, symposiums, DJ sets, digital projects, and workshops. The fellowship will foster curatorial and production acumen, engaging the fellow directly in the CREAMCAKE creation process, from concept to presentation. The fellow will work directly with the team on a variety of projects in Berlin, and learn CREAMCAKE’s methods and processes for commissioning and presenting interdisciplinary programs at various locations in Berlin. The fellow will also continue their own research, and will contribute to CREAMCAKE’s program, as well as provide support for writing project descriptions, and funding applications.

Can't wait for our very special @chuquimamani_condori and @purofantasia concert and screening as part of our 10/11 anniversary series at Radialsystem this Sunday, December 4, 8pm.

Along with a live performance, the sibling artists and musicians present their film collaboration “Amaru’s Tongue: Daughter” where their late-grandmother, Flora Tancara Quiñonez Chuquimia, encounters a dog, a condor, and a hummingbird, along her journey through the narrative. Each of these entities is a central figure in the three-year transition of death, detailing the traditions of the Pakajaqi nation, indigenous to pats of today's Bolivia, Chile, and Peru.

Including a supporting DJ set of deconstructed Latin rhythm and trance composites from TRRUENO member @_m_a_a_y.

Join us for our final 10|11 🎂 anniversary concert and screening of this year!

The brilliant @chuquimamani_condori and @purofantasia will perform at @radialsystem_berlin along with a screening of their “Amaru’s Tongue: Daughter” film at Radialsystem on December 4.

The silicon effigy of their late-grandmother—Flora Tancara Quiñonez Chuquimia—narrates alongside family members, alive and long-passed, while accompanied by the ever-present guidance of Andean goddess Pachamama, the spacetime world mother. Flora encounters a dog, a condor, and a hummingbird, along her journey through the narrative, with each being central figures in the three-year transition of death, detailing the traditions of the Pakajaqi nation, indigenous to parts of today's Bolivia, Chile and Peru.
