I almost gave up on this version of me.
Not the business. Me.

There were seasons where I could build a business with my eyes closed, but couldn’t figure out how to build myself back up.

I’ve had wins. I’ve taken losses. I’ve had to start over. I’ve made decisions scared. Made decisions broke. Made decisions with absolutely NO proof that what I saw in my head was going to work.

And somewhere in the middle of becoming a mama, running businesses, surviving some shit I don’t even talk about online, and trying to figure out who I was becoming…I kept going..Sometimes one decision at a time And now I’m standing in front of location TWO. 🥹

Suites by LP is expanding to Marietta.

I’m so excited to be Providing more opportunities for other beauty professionals to walk into a space, close their door, and build something that belongs to THEM.

That part means more to me than I can explain.

Because 10 years ago, I was the beauty professional trying to figure it out too. I didn’t have some perfect blueprint. I just kept building. And apparently… I’m still building. 😭

And that distinction matters the second you decide to go beyond the chair.

Talent might get you booked.

But operating, leading, managing money, building systems and making decisions is what keeps the business alive.

Everybody tells you to scale.

Nobody asks if you actually know how to operate what you’re trying to scale.

And that does NOT mean they lack ambition.

Sometimes staying close to the service, protecting your peace, keeping overhead low, and building a profitable business around your actual strengths is the smartest move you can make.

We have to stop treating expansion like the only proof of success.

I’ve been thinking about how easy it is to keep introducing yourself as the person everybody already knows. You know… whatever title people met you under.

But what happens when YOU’VE outgrown the version of you THEY remember?

I’m not that SAME girl anymore.

I found myself still answering to an old version of me because that’s the one everybody recognizes. Somewhere along the way, I became a woman I hadn’t properly MET yet… and I realized many of you haven’t either.

So allow me to reintroduce myself!

I’M AMIR.

Most of y’all know me as Rima.

I’m a founder, operator, educator, advisor and strategist.

Behind the scenes, I’ve always been the one building the systems, figuring out the numbers, structuring the businesses, creating the strategy, solving the problems and helping other people do the same while balancing my own plate.

That part of me isn’t new. I just never really put her in front of the camera. And MANY of you have begged me to for years 😂😂

Truthfully, I think I had to see her for myself first.

I had to stop looking at myself through the lens of who I used to be, what I started as, or what everybody already knew me for.

Because somewhere along the way, I actually became the woman I was working so hard to become.

And I think I’ve finally accepted that.

So while I’m reintroducing myself to y’all…

“What’s going on @lashprimp ?”

I usually never answer that question publicly.

Not because it’s a secret, but because putting my head down and finding solutions has always been my coping mechanism.

From 2021 to 2026, Lash Primp survived off the seeds I planted during the six years before that. I’m incredibly grateful because I simply wasn’t in a season where I had the capacity to keep growing.

I lost a parent. Experienced family betrayal beyond anything I could’ve imagined. Slowly watched friendships fade. And after 11 miscarriages, God blessed me with my beautiful baby girl.

I was standing in what looked like the height of my career while everything in my personal life was falling apart.

By the time I finally felt like I could breathe again, postpartum hit.

Meanwhile, everything around me changed. The lash industry changed. Marketing changed. Social media changed. The way people shopped changed.

And if I’m being honest…

For the first time ever, I started to hate my business.

Not because I stopped loving what I built.

Because I no longer recognized it.

And somewhere along the way, I stopped recognizing myself too.

For a long time, I thought I needed to become the old me again.

Now I realize I was never supposed to go back.

I was supposed to grow into someone new.

So if you’ve been wondering where I’ve been…

I’ve been rebuilding.

Not just a business.

Me.

For the first time in a long time, I’m excited again.

Thank you to everyone who stayed while I figured it out.
