We did it 🙌🏻 Last stage fast stage! Due to storm and rain and mud, last stage was shortened to 40k / 1050hm.
So we did not want to take any energy home, so emptied the tank and rode all out to the finish line with a time of 1:59 (278W NP)
What an achievement to finish this race after all the ups and downs over the 8 crazy days. Cape Epic is really epic and it will take a few weeks for all the impressions to sink in. Thanks all for following our way! by @lasseibert

Rain and mud all day makes even tougher than the queen stage 5 😬
Luckily we trained all winter in muddy rainy Germany 😀👍🏻

Queen Stage done ✅
Due to slight rain, perfect conditions / less sand on the trails and not that hot 🥵
But the duration of the stage and the last climb “the neck” added even more fatigue to the body 😀 2 days to go! taken in Paarl, Western Cape by @lasseibert

Stage4 was tought and i was coverd half in white and dust. Take it a bit “easier” after lack of sleep at night due to my crash but we made it in a good time with mostly all the other teams around like the days before. Now it is raining, will be interesting how the trail conditions changed 😳 taken in Paarl, Western Cape by @lasseibert
