To my best friend, my Dad,my GranDADDY… I never wanted to write this because then it would really mean you left me. 😭😭
.
.
. You meant the world to me. You were the light in all my dark times. You raised me from day one like I was your last kid. 🫶🏾 I’m sorry I complained all the times you had me be your secretary with the family & the 📕 red book. I’m sorry I complained all the times you made me go to Ft.lewis to run errands…now I realize it was to spend so much time together. I will always cherish it. 🫶🏾
.
.
. I will always cherish the phone calls we had 24/7…just to say hi or be like “did I call you?” And continue convos… I will cherish my Walmart orders of your fave snacks…even when turning to sugar free to make you still happy like the times we hit the PX to get all the snacks my mom said no to growing up.
.
.
. I will cherish alllllll the videos and photos I made you take so I could remeber your voice and all your facial expressions until I die. I will cherish all the photos I have of you looking at me with disgust but so much effing love behind those hard eyes.
.
.
. I will always tell every single person I meet about you & why I am the way I am…because of YOU. My DAD.
.
.
. I’m still cursing you for not taking me with you to leave this earth. I’ll always remind people & the family….you asked me to die with you when the time came and to be buried next to you…
.
.
. This will never be real in my eyes… Thank you for raising me thank you loving me unconditionally thank you for making me have a huge heart and be so hard at the same time. It’s been TWO LONG HARD MONTHS.
