Queens & Peacocks was only going to be one Mastermind.

But we created something rather special.

Something really needed, especially in the North East.

We’ve held three now, and we have SO MUCH MORE planned!

We want to help raise our community as high as they’re willing to go. Together we can achieve so much!

If you’re done with asking permission, playing it small, waiting for the right time, having shit mansplained to you. Then we’re here and we’ve got you!

Come join the movement we’ve accidentally started, but have now made our mission.

Feb 10th 2027.
Micro Offer Creation Mastermind.
We can make this work for every business - let us surprise you! If you want more people/clients/customers, let us work out something that suits your business.

For my next amazing woman we’re in Anglo-Saxon England and heading north to Whitby for Hilda, because obviously I was going to get a North East woman into this series! 🩷

The Context - Hilda was born into a royal family in around 614 and became a nun in her thirties. She eventually became the founding abbess of the monastery at Whitby, which was a double monastery housing both women and men, and developed into an important centre of religion and learning.

The Goal - Although Hilda wasn’t commanding armies or fighting for a throne, her influence came through building a community where people could learn, develop and lead, and she became respected enough that kings and other powerful figures sought her advice.

The Result - Several men educated at Whitby went on to become bishops, and Hilda’s monastery hosted the Synod of Whitby in 664, one of the most significant religious gatherings of Anglo-Saxon England. She is also connected to the story of Cædmon, one of the earliest English poets whose name we know.

The Lesson - You don’t have to be the person standing at the front shouting the loudest to have enormous influence. Sometimes leadership is about creating the environment, putting the right people together and giving them what they need to become bloody brilliant at what THEY do.

When I work with business owners, I often have the conversation that they can’t and shouldn’t be the person doing everything forever. Part of building something sustainable is creating the processes, structure and environment that allow other people to step up too.

If everything in your business currently needs YOU to make it happen, we probably need to have a conversation. Holler! 🩷

Sometimes you can build something up in your head until it becomes a much bigger thing than it actually is!

I met with a lovely client today and made her take an action there and then. Because I knew if she went away to think about it, she’d probably overthink it and it would become another thing on her list.

Sometimes you just need someone to give you that push, get you out of your own head and get you to take the bloody action!

And once it’s done, you can stop thinking about it and move on.

What’s the worst that can happen? Someone says no. And that’s okay too!

Sometimes that’s exactly what I’m here for. ❤️

Often when you’re feeling stuck in your business you think you know the problem, but actually I’ve found it’s not always what you think it is!

If you’re not sure, or you can’t work it through, I’m here to help you work out what’s really going on.

I’ll listen, ask questions, and challenge you (in a nice way of course), and together we’ll get to the bottom of the actual issue.

Then we’ll sort it together. I’ve got your back.

One client called me the missing link she needed.

If you’re in need of a missing link - DM me and we can chat!

I’ve been the person everyone comes to for answers. The person responsible for the staff, the finances, the operations, and the decisions that need making.

I’ve sat in management meetings, dealt with staffing challenges, worked through financial decisions, managed projects and been responsible for making sure a business actually runs.

Being a Managing Director taught me an enormous amount about leadership, responsibility and the realities of running an organisation. It also gave me a huge appreciation for just how much goes on behind the scenes that other people never see. And all of that experience comes with me when I work with my clients today.

When a business owner talks to me about a staffing challenge, a difficult decision, an operational problem or an opportunity they’re considering, I can draw on my own experience of being in that position. I understand the bigger picture, the implications of decisions and the responsibility that comes with being the person in charge.

And I enjoy being able to use that experience to help other business owners navigate their own challenges, make decisions and move their businesses forward.

I’ve sat in your seat, and now I can sit beside you. If you’re running an established business and would value some experienced support, let’s have a conversation. DM me.🩷

Your business is growing, you’ve got a team, customers are coming through the door and things are looking pretty good. But is everything behind the scenes keeping up?

I’ve noticed, both when managing businesses myself and working with other business owners, is that the way a business operates doesn’t always evolve at the same pace as the business itself.

The processes that worked brilliantly when you had three members of staff might not work quite so well when you’ve got fifteen. Responsibilities become unclear, communication gets muddled up, and you end up still being involved in absolutely everything!

Meanwhile, everyone’s busy keeping the business running, and those improvements, projects and changes that would make life easier keep getting pushed further down the list.

Sorting all this out is my happy place ! Really and truly it is! I love getting into a business, understanding how everything works, identifying what’s causing problems and working with the owner and their team to make things run more effectively.

That might mean reviewing processes, clarifying responsibilities, improving communication, putting better systems in place or taking responsibility for a project that’s been sitting on the to-do list for far too long.

I’ve managed businesses, led teams and been responsible for operations, finances and people. I understand how all those moving parts fit together, and how much difference it makes when they’re working properly.

If your business has grown but the way you’re running it hasn’t quite caught up, let’s have a conversation. I’m your gal! 🩷

Today I headed along to Kraken Networking, run by the lovely Caroline Hagan of @blueocto at The Detective Rooms on Belmont Industrial Estate. Apart from Caroline, I didn’t know a single person in the room, which was most unusual and lovely to meet lots of new people.

I do a lot of networking across the North East, and while I absolutely love catching up with familiar faces, I’m also totally comfortable and excited to walk into a room full of new people, and find out about the businesses they run. Lots of very interesting chats, and a guided tour from real life PI Jen, to see all the different rooms they have - I’m torn between the Bridgerton and the train carriage rooms as my faves.

I love talking to people (if you’d not already guessed), and it’s been a huge part of building my business over the years, and long may that last.

A big thank you to Caroline for organising and to Jen for showing us around. Lovely to meet everyone today! 🩷
