Happy 19th Birthday Erin! 🥰🎉 There is nothing more magical than experiencing life with someone you love by your side, and I’m beyond greatful that you are my sister. Of all the adventures we’ve had, the late night laughing sessions, the tv show bingeing, the occassional fight, the ‘let’s make up because I want to show you this funny meme’ an hour later, the trust of shared secrets, the just dance battles, the ‘are you girls twins?’ for the millionth time, the Vons runs in our pajamas to get junk food, the perfect yet annoying one liners from dad, the drawing sessions on the kitchen table to see who can make the best skeleton of a mermaid (not me apparently), the irritation I feel after you make a loaf of banana bread even though we have three others already in the freezer, the rules we made to make sharing pudding fairly, the weird videos we capture of each other to forever remember the embarrassment, the mall trips with the purpose to try on the craziest outfit, the board game competitions, the cliff jumping and zip lining adventures, the blue berry slushies in the 711 parking lot on a roadtrip, the borrowed clothes from each other’s closet without needing to ask, there’s so much more I can’t wait to experience with you! A new chapter is beginning for you Bear, and I know you’ll make the most of it. Just don’t forget to call your older sister, even for stupid things, when you get famous. You are a beautiful, strong, and creative human being with so much to give to the world. Anything you put your mind to, you will achieve. Never forget who you are, and where you’ve come from, and the fact that I love you more than anything ❤️ by @lauren_beam

Happy Birthday Erin ❤️ you’re 18 and there are so many things I can’t wait to do with you now that we’re adulting together! You’re a strong, beautiful, confident young woman and you’re the person I most love in this world. I watched you grow up beside me as we made “witch potions” in the front yard, when you had your first day of school, when we swapped clothes to confuse everyone about who was who, and when you learned Norse so that we could pass notes back and forth so Mom and Dad would never know what we were saying. My favorite moments as your sister are when I see you smile with accomplishment, to know that everything I have taught you, shared with you, and showed you influenced your action to be the amazing human being you are today. You need me less and less everyday, and soon you’ll be off discovering your passions in life, possibly far away from me. It’s bittersweet. But I wouldn’t have it any other way, because you are my best friend, and I would give up anything and everything to make you happy. So there’s your sappy paragraph for your birthday.
