As I say goodbye to one of the best human hearts that I know, I am reminded of just how precious and finite this life truly is. I am reminded of what makes this life painfully beautiful and I am reminded of why we are here - and that is to love and be loved. There is nothing more to it. There is ultimately nothing more that we need. To love fully means to grieve fully. To love fully requires the courage to experience the physical pain in our hearts when it is time to let go - a stuffy that kept you safe, a worm that stopped moving, a school teacher who touched your 🤍, a home that held memories, a new friend, an old friend, a partner, a dream, an art, a grandparent - a soul who has shaped so much of your being without most of us fully appreciating it until they are gone.

As I celebrate the life that my remarkably kind, patient and beautiful Papa led - the influence that my Nana had on his, the values that they instilled and what made their hearts feel full - I am reminded of how much my grandparents have and continue to shape the life that I create. I feel their presence in a way I have never felt before. I witness how the path I pursue reflects the values that they held and things that they treasured. The way that my Papa was fascinated by each cacti, the shade of each section of rock on our hikes, the way that my Nana felt in her body when she danced, the joy that each of them felt in their hearts when they got to witness a good sunset, the way their favorite symphony felt within their bones when they were present to each note, the love in their 💛’s that grew when they gave back to their community - puzzles, scrabble, hugs, a good bike ride, coffee, chocolate, their lemon tree in AZ 🍋🌵 All of the above were deeply felt experiences that made up their lives and will continue to make up ours.

They will remain present within the 💜’s of all who came after them - and the work that I find myself falling into reminds me more and more of who they were. Unlike this short life we are living, the love that I hold for them isn’t finite. It will forever remain in my heart and they will always take up lots of space within. by @laurenalbert_

A message of Love 🌈♾️🌙

To all of the hearts who land here - last week was an embodiment of what I feel to be true every day as I dance through this thing we call life.

It was a reminder that movement and music are the medicine and it is within each of us and accessible at every waking moment. We have been celebrating life with these infinitely impactful and magical tools since the beginning of time. I believe we are slowly beginning to remember the impact that they can have on all of humanity to heal, connect and shift consciousness.

Standing in a field of love, while a kind human on stage acknowledged and celebrated an audience that was made up of all of the polarity and dis-ease that we see in the world - without a soul expressing anything but LOVE in response to his words - made my heart quite literally explode. To come together as a global community in the name of music, dance, joy, presence, human connection and of course, LOVE, was a beautiful reminder that PEACE is indeed possible. I will never stop believing in it and it was so incredibly heartening to actually embody and experience what that felt like. No fear, no H*TE, no resentment, no polarity, and only one side of the fence. Only LOVE ♾️🕊️

FORGIVENESS. It is a profoundly powerful energy that we all have the power to hold. I don’t believe that there is a human being on this planet who hasn’t experienced adversity, felt mistreated or felt devalued for being themselves at some point in their lives. It is a part of the human experience and a beautiful part of it at that - for it is what creates space for growth, expansion and light. It is how we learn to develop the muscle to be authentically ourselves and trust that if done with kindness and in the name of love, that it will always be enough. If you have been hurt, Jack would tell you that the person who hurt you just needs more love. It is what I work hard every day to practice. They are the values that I work to instill in my boy and they are the values that were instilled in me. If I can love the person who has caused me the most suffering, I believe that we all can - because in the end, it’s just love.

Papa Heart 💛🪽

A year without you here and yet you often feel more present. I have never been one of few words and I wanted to share some of your wisdom.

Scroll to the right ➡️ for a beautiful reminder that our Children and our Elders hold all of the keys. We simply need to learn how to sit still and listen to the truth that has been there all along ⚛️♾️

Live with authenticity. It is the highest vibration that you can generate 🔅
Love without condition.
Have compassion for every human.
Practice presence.
Forgive yourself.
Forgive it all.

And find the magic in the mundane ✨
It is everywhere when you choose to see it 💫

Thank you for being a constant reminder 💛🪽

Last but not least - shining light on two souls who bring lots of light to this world, for it brings me immense joy to do so 🔆

🌈 Rainbow After Rain ⚡️

What a gift it is to be a mother.
What a gift it is to get to learn from the magic that our children offer every day that ends with y.
What a gift it is to be on this magically messy journey that we call life.

Jack, to know you is to love you. What an honour and a gift to help nurture and nourish your soul. Nothing more humbling. Nothing more exhausting. Nothing more life giving. Nothing more magical. Here and grateful for it all ♾️✨ I am so very lucky that I get to be your Mommy.

To the women who raised me, shaped me and held me - I see you, I love you, THANK YOU. I am forever grateful for the imprint that you have made on my heart.

To every mother, I see you, I love you, THANK YOU.

Another year around the sun ♾️

Dancing out of my last with more discernment, more wisdom, more gratitude and more space - space within my body and space within my heart.

Dancing into my next with more joy, more courage, more certainty, more light, more freedom - an even greater capacity to forgive - and of course, more love.

Infinite love.

Deeply grateful for this life. Deeply grateful for the magic and the mess within it.

What a gift it is to be your Mommy - and what a privilege to watch you dance through this life.

Jack Jack. So brave, so sweet, incredibly smart and connected to source.

Jack was so receptive and taught me a lot that day. The innocence and at the same time awareness kept me in surprise.

Thank you Jack for allowing me to learn and be a kid again. 💚

Yesterday, I said goodbye to my bold, beautiful, tenacious, hilarious, unconditionally loving Nana Banana. She was a dancer, and like me, movement was her medicine. In her 50s, she opened a dance studio — if it was your medicine and you could not afford to come through her doors, they were open. My grandparents found more joy in giving than receiving and they taught us - simply by being - that life is infinitely more abundant when lived from that place 🌈

Today, on Tuesday, October 7th, I had the honour of giving birth to a vision I’ve held in my heart for far too long — a movement rooted in love and born from darkness. A movement inspired by my own roots, to perpetuate peace and help all humans cultivate more from within.

Today, @annaseverina and I came together to plant a seed to help all of humanity become more of who they were always meant to be. I am deeply grateful to have had places to go when I have forgotten who I am for a moment - to heal, to feel to grieve and to come back home. We should all be so lucky.

Today, we give birth to Becoming - a fund to help provide Earthlings everywhere with access to the resources that bring them back home. Becoming is here to help you move through dis-ease before it becomes disease. YOU choose your own medicine - we help make it accessible financially for those who can’t. Becoming is here to help build a health system that is healthy — one rooted in compassion, connection, and care for the whole.

But where do we begin? @thisisearthlings is here to bridge the gap between those who seek authentic connection, healing and a more aligned life - with the spaces, tools and resources that offer it - guiding you toward the medicine that you are seeking, wherever you are on your journey back home.

We came together today for a 💛cleansing, hour of magic. 100 % of proceeds were donated to Becoming, helping to provide fellow Earthlings with access to the medicine that @wearejaybird has to offer.

Today, we challenge you to do one thing to active peace from within - to transform separation into unity, grief into compassion and pain into ♾️ love.

Rebirth. Renewal. Freedom. Peace. Unconditional love 🤍🕊️

This is what happens when we wholeheartedly forgive ourselves and each other.
This is what happens when we dissolve the fear, guilt, shame and heartbreak that we once held and create space for magic - for joy, for presence, for infinite, unconditional love.

Jack Marvel and I did Yom Kippur a little differently.
We wrote down all of the things that we did this year that deserve our forgiveness.
We wrote down the people and experiences in our lives that had caused us to experience any form of grief, anger and heartbreak and chose to wholeheartedly forgive them too.
We wrote down all of things that we wanted to call in and integrate into our lives in the year ahead having learned the hard lessons - choosing to fall forward and in the direction of light 🔆 What followed was one of our most epic dance parties to date - releasing all of the sticky stuff and finding the joy.

5786, please bring us more of the simple magic 🌈♾️🌔

🦋Sleep. Rest. Renewal.
🌻Presence. Even more of it. So we see every sunflower, every race car in the sky, every mushroom, every purple Tesla, every snail, every snake, every sunset, every star…)
🌳Time at the park with Mommy.
🪽Time to be still.
🌕Time with my family, who I love deeply and have failed this past year.
🌞Witnessing the Sunrise as frequently as possible (if I said daily, it would be harder to fall forward, for I acknowledge my humanness)
🎼Learning to play an instrument (although Jack already knows how to play each one ;)
🥥Eating more healthy food and trying all of the new ones (all Jack and I am proud to say it :)
🌱Loving myself (also all Jack - who is already really good at it. Mommy is adopting this one too)
🙏Telling one person, every day, that I am grateful for their presence. Practice it daily but I am working on perfection, starting with you. If you are here and you have read this, I am grateful for your presence and I trust that it will inspire you to practice it more.
🕊️Finally - more music (live too) - and more time to dance to it, morning and night. There is no better medicine.

Forgiveness 🕊️

In the literal sense - forgiveness is a conscious, deliberate decision to release feelings of anger or resentment.

But what does embodied forgiveness look like?
It looks like a child running through wildflowers.
A bird soaring effortlessly through the sky.
It looks like soft shoulders and an open heart.
A smile that comes easily.
Effortless presence.
Capacity to see the magic in the mundane.
Kindness, just because.
Creativity and flow.
Collaboration and a regulated nervous system - which I deem to be the greatest gift that we can give each other.
It is a radical and liberating act of LOVE toward one’s self and to others 💛

It is a return to wholeness ♾️ for the whole.

I am deeply sorry for all that I have done to cause myself and those who I get to dance through this life with any form of pain or suffering. I am deeply sorry for the pain that I held onto because of what I allowed. A never ending journey and a daily practice - one that I commit to every day until the end of time. Perfectly imperfect and proud of my humanness.

Today, I encourage you to think of one thing that is being held within your heart that you can release in order to cultivate more love within yourself and the world around you. It is the gateway to unconditional love and peace and life gets infinitely more beautiful on the other side 🌈✨
