If you’re wondering whether you should do the photos, you should totally do the photos. Bonus points for finding an incredibly talented photographer who also happens to be a dear friend so you can have a silly old time and then go for lunch after. Adore you @kk.angus 🧡 thank you for capturing this crazy time so beautifully🤰 by @laurengamp

In honour of heading into cosy pub szn, I’m posting this beef welly deconstruct shoot that I somehow forgot to post from NGT FOOD Autumn 2024?! I asked @antduncan_photo and @vivianagm to make me believe that our studio in north London was in fact a gastro pub and they said “hold my beer”. Perfectly propped @vivianagm shot @antduncan_photo and styled @hollycowgill and art directed by me. Oh how I miss this magazine ❤️‍🩹

I also got to eat the leftovers straight for a week and I can whole-heartedly recommend this recipe by @johntorodecooks and @lisafaulknercooks 🥩 by @laurengamp

Took me 5 months to remember this was in my drafts but here’s an ode to Nashville during the worst winter storm they’ve experienced in 20 years. As you can see, we still made the most of it and it was still the most fun because, well, it’s Nashville. You can also read about a few of these excellent local businesses in my When in Nashville piece in the latest (Jul/Aug) issue of @natgeotraveluk 🇺🇸 by @laurengamp

Extremely late posting but this was the cover story from our redesign issue. We’re in the swing of things now (5 issues down the line) but I thought it time to let this baby have a moment outside of a redesign roundup🦙🇨🇱

40 years ago today, we all got a little bit luckier. Life is simply better in a world where @georgeclode exists. You light up every room you enter, and we’re all a little brighter for it. Happy birthday 🎈 by @laurengamp

For a few weeks in November, @beckyredman and I went into a little design bunker to come up with the creative for the @natgeotraveluk redesign. From those initial concepts (throwing everything and anything onto a page and seeing what stuck after being overwhelmed by blank documents and endless possibilities) to building the issue with the team through December and January, it’s been such a rewarding process seeing the redesign come to life.

In the conveyor belt that is the publishing industry it’s very easy for time to escape you and to forget to stop and smell the roses you grew, so just taking a hot second to be proud of what we created together and of the ideas that sparked it all. Here’s a very small taster of the launch (March) issue. The April issue is OUT NOW and we go to print on May next week. Like I said, conveyor belt 🧡 by @laurengamp
