In honour of heading into cosy pub szn, I’m posting this beef welly deconstruct shoot that I somehow forgot to post from NGT FOOD Autumn 2024?! I asked @antduncan_photo and @vivianagm to make me believe that our studio in north London was in fact a gastro pub and they said “hold my beer”. Perfectly propped @vivianagm shot @antduncan_photo and styled @hollycowgill and art directed by me. Oh how I miss this magazine ❤️‍🩹

I also got to eat the leftovers straight for a week and I can whole-heartedly recommend this recipe by @johntorodecooks and @lisafaulknercooks 🥩

I’m never really lost for words but as I looked up to 45 of my friends singing happy birthday to me I was actually speechless and knocked for six by the love I felt. I really don’t know who I was in a past life or what I have done in this one to deserve all of you guys. It was the best feeling seeing you all mingle and make new connections, and I’m so fucking grateful for how you have all been there for me this year. There’s no me without you (and all of my other favourite creatures who were there in spirit) Lots of love from me, my sparkly dress, and my crippling Jimmy choos in a pub in London Fields.

P.s the biggest fattest thank you to my @sampsonally who strung up photos, balloons, disco balls, banners for cakes and candles all to make me feel special. And I love you so very much.

The whole of Mauritius felt like it was glowing for you two. A wedding so full of love, music, and magic it couldn’t have been more you. So lucky to have witnessed it all. It was such an honour to read my little poem & generally feel like I was part of your families and your love. My last *sob* deconstruct was prettier than my wildest dreams. @hhughes_photo doesn’t just nail a brief, she goes above and beyond the brief. She will literally tile a wall for you. I wanted summer bbq/picnic/ice cream parlour and boy did I get it and more. Thank you @hhughes_photo @sashaburdian_photo @kordalisk for executing this one so beautifully - it means so much that we got to go out on such a high (more on that another time because I don’t quite have the words yet).
