We made homemade playdough today using natural ingredients and it turned out so beautiful 🤍

I love finding simple activities that feel fun for the kids but also align with how we try to live and create at home.

BASE RECIPE:
• 1 cup flour
• 1/2 cup cornstarch
• 1/2 cup warm water
• 2 tbsp oil

NATURAL COLOR OPTIONS:
• Beet powder for pink/red
• Turmeric for yellow (use lightly because it can stain hands + surfaces)
• Spirulina for green

FOR SCENT + SENSORY PLAY:
• Lavender petals
• Rose petals
• 1 small drop peppermint oil

Mix dry ingredients first, add wet ingredients, stir, then knead until smooth.

Tip: If dough is sticky add flour. If dough is dry add a splash of water.

Save this for an easy sensory activity, rainy day project, or slow morning with your littles 🤍 by @laurennmillen
