Welll.. IT’S HERE! Punch’s Best New Bartenders 2026. This is a bit surreal. I feel so very grateful. And trying to shoo away any and all impostery syndrome feelings. Thank you @punch_drink 🥹
And for the wordy part!

I’ve spent most of my adult life in a job I love very much. I’ve been lucky enough to find community that has shown me vulnerability and warmth in ways that I can only hope to carry forward. Lots of learning still to do, and lots of breathing exercises to go (to anyone who has been privy to one of my many anxious rants, god bless you. I love you). We’re frickin doin it!!

I’m so so thankful that this work (and New York) has brought me closer to home than I had felt in a long time. I get to conjure up memories and flavors that maybe i thought i had lost for a bit. Como diria mami, de Isabela a Nueva Yoll pu*~eta!!

Every time I go to Mexico I fall a little more in love with it. What a privilege to be able to be a part of such a beautiful experience with such genuinely good people. I can’t say thank you to @academia_patron @beardfoundation @jesus.hernandez.ceja enough. This industry, its kindness & generosity continues to amaze me.
