🍻 "Business casual bar fare" is the shorthand at Nobody’s Business, which opened in September in downtown Austin as a casual venture from some of the folks behind Comedor and Via 313. πŸ” The Crispy Fish Sandwich ($16) is a massive, 10 napkin affair, with a super-crisp, craggly batter and an extra-buttery, toasted bun. 🐟 The fish itself has a prominent earthy and distinctly fishy flavor β€” Gulf Coast-y, let’s call it β€” rather than the clean, mild white-flaky character some might expect, but there’s no denying the sheer scale of the sandwich. The Tallow Fries ($6) are standard pub fries, doing their supporting role without much fuss. 🍟 🌯 The rest of the menu stays comfortably within the Austin bar-food universe, with a cheeseburger, Buffalo chicken wrap and baby back ribs alongside a chilled noodle bowl with shrimp, snapper and pineapple.
