✨ AUGUST ✨

I turned 34 this month! Here are some things I'm proud of myself for:

🫧 I have my own studio apartment (rental)
🫧 I've been posting consistently for 4 months now to build my platform for when my record comes out! (Five yr plan > 2031)
🫧 I'm finally on the right dose of meds
🫧 I've started doing the cryptic crossword which is a (lifelong) dream
🫧 I started therapy for BPD
🫧 Every chaos / drama person has been chopped from my life and I've stopped over-explaining my boundaries and needs
🫧 I have thee best friends around me whom I cherish and they cherish me! And they all met at my bday and became friends with each other!
🫧 Also I'm a GOOD friend and I'm proud of myself for that!
🫧 I've got to a really good spot with my vocal training that I'm super happy with (still some polishing up to do)
🫧 I think I've filled all 10 slots on the tracklist for my alb (altho some things will wiggle around, I'm sure)
🫧 I'm learning to work the way I work and I get so much more done that way
🫧 I never compromise on rest anymore; I just accept my needs without fighting myself
🫧 I've totally embraced that I'm a girl dinner-er and it's completely changing my life 🥒
🫧 I finally decided on all 3 of my baby names! (I want two girls and a boy and I was stuck on the boy until recently, now I just need a husband lol, no big!) 🧚🏻‍♂️✨
🫧 I GOT MY BELLYBUTTON PIERCED!!!
🫧 My priorities actually come first now!

I'm also really looking forward to Autumn, September, October, Halloween, sweater weather, etc this year. The heatwave was far too much for me and Fall fashion is my jam! ♡ taken in 𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙢𝙣 𝙢𝙤𝙤𝙙. by @lavandeworld

Birthday Post! 🖤 This year I was finally brave enough to do a speech at my birthday dinner (anxiety whom?!) and one of the things I said was 'I am so grateful to be someone you love.' What I meant was that, as I sat surrounded by (almost bc Gab's in America) all of my favourite people in the world, it dawned on me that just as I love them, they love me too. How wonderful to be someone that all the best people ever see as worthy of and good enough for their love? Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou for making my life what it is. All of the people in this album are my home, my family, my rocks and I feel so lucky and grateful that I got to spend 3 days of party with you! ❤️‍🔥

Special thanks to my girlies for buying me red roses (you know I'm a traditional romantic at heart!) to Gabby for organising a gorgeous cake and to Brins for DJing my party, calling me up on stage for the whole place to sing Happy Birthday to me and for playing Silver Cross after 😭 AND the biggest love and adoration to everyone who turned it out dressing as me!!! 🏹 KISS ME, CUPID 🏹

Bored of every man in town, I knew only the Angel of Love would do.. 💕

This shoot was borne out of a dream I had where @reservoirnoir was my BOYFRIEND and he gifted me polaroids of the two of us by a bonfire. The two shots here are replicas of the two photos he handed to me in the dream. We chose a 'fireplace' over a bonfire and decided it was only right I snagged the ultimate man this Valentine's Day - cupid himself! 💝
