My innocent pal curled with me now, has used my jute rug as a scratching mat & it’s now in shreds & beyond repair. Thank goodness l have spare jute rope to make another.l think this means l need to make a scratch post…

The temperature is changing, and the leaves are falling from my trees , means only one thing. An excuse to curl up by the fire and sew or knit.🧶 🪡✂️
There is one exception for venturing out that was a trip to a stitch/knit show. I was thinking of Ally pally this week end however the ticket £28.10 + a day return £23.40 on the train plus lunch out, leaves very little wiggle room for purchase. That seems such a shame as my will power when in show’s is none existent and spend a fair amount over my budget. I know people will say it’s worth it, as l know it will be as l have been going to these shows for many years. But it’s also a great place to chat all day about textiles it’s such a dilemma as to what to do..

It’s well worth getting up early, so much done before breakfast, Spicy Hawthorn sauce & Elderberry Balsamic vinegar made.l will have to what till Xmas before tasting.
Now to settle down with cuppa & my cross stitch for the rest of the day.🪡☕️🌿

Didn’t need to forage for the plum’s & apples for my early morning crumble making, they were a gift from a friend. All ready for freezer to have during cold winter day’s with homemade custard.Now to sort out craft room wondering what colours are missing for my list when @yarndale but will l have strong will power when l get there…🧶✂️🪡
