The Hive turned one, and we celebrated with a little party last night. It was wonderful to gather our tutors, hear their stories, and help them connect with each other. Felicity and I feel grateful to have discovered such a gifted group of individuals, mostly from our local area. Their generosity in sharing their teaching and creative skills has been vital to our success. We missed a few tutors, but we're looking forward to hosting more socials soon.

From the cosiest socks to beautiful Dorset Button brooches...our upcoming craft workshops are all about slowing down, getting creative, and learning something new in great company.

Never heard of Dorset Buttons? These little handmade treasures date back to the 1600s and were traditionally made by wrapping thread around a ring to create intricate patterns. Today, they’re a gorgeous way to make unique brooches, embellishments, or even jewellery – and the process is as mindful as it is fun. They are introduced to us by @lavenderdrift who makes beautiful things and recently hosted a workshop at National Trust Ightham Mote so we're delighted to have her with us.

Join us to stitch, loop, and unwind – perfect for beginners or anyone who loves a peaceful creative moment.
