🍂 OCTOBER’S RISING
31 Days of Becoming:

The veil thins.
The leaves begin to let go.
Something in us stirs.

For the next four weeks, we’ll gather at the threshold of autumn and write our way through the season.

Each day, a new writing prompt will be provided to guide you into the ritual. Follow it wherever it leads you. Write a poem, a few lines, a story, a reflection, or whatever needs to move through you.

There are no strict writing guidelines. Take what calls to you and leave what doesn’t.

Feel it all.

Write what is shedding.
Write what is taking root.
Write what haunts you, heals you, or calls you forward.

When you share your piece, tag a couple of friends in the comments and invite them into the ritual.

If you feel called to create your own posts, tag the admins and use the hashtags so we can find your work, witness it, and properly celebrate what you’re bringing into the circle.

Come with your whole self.

Bring the shadow.
Bring the light.
Bring what is ready to be released.

The leaves will fall.
The earth will hold them.
And we will listen for what comes next. 🍂🖤

Does this make me better than anyone else? No.

But enough.

This is supposed to be a safe place to write, heal, create, and exist without constantly being dragged into everyone else’s little wars.

The petty jabs.
The thinly veiled posts.
The constant need to poke at each other while the rest of us are just trying to make art and breathe.

It’s exhausting.

If you need to tear someone else down to make your own voice feel louder, maybe it’s time to look at what’s hurting underneath it.

Be better or get the fuck out.

And honestly?
I hope you’re uncomfortable.

Not because I want you to suffer, but because sometimes discomfort is where accountability finally begins. by @lavendermorbs
