We are honored to announce that OCTLA @octla_org has selected Michael Jeandron as the 2023 Top Gun Trial Lawyer of the Year - Young Gun.

Michael will be honored at OCTLA’s annual Top Gun Awards gala at The Grove in Anaheim on November 11, 2023.

In the first decade of practice Michael has tried 14 cases to jury verdict. His record includes verdicts of $5.3M, 1.5M, 1.3M, and 1M. Michael has become a go to trial lawyer for other personal injury lawyers with difficult and complex cases. In the face of those challenges, Michael consistently obtains great results for those seriously injured in our community.

I passed the California bar back when it was still the three day bar exam. New lawyers only have to pass the watered down two day bar exam. ✏️

oh yeah, and I’ve also been admitted Pro Hac in Florida✔️✔️

California just passed a first-of-its-kind law on lawyers using AI. 🤖⚖️

Starting January 1, 2027, SB 574 sets new rules for every California attorney who uses AI:
✅ AI can assist, but it can’t practice law. The legal judgment has to come from your lawyer.
✅ Your private information stays protected. Lawyers can’t put confidential client details, medical records, or personal information into AI tools that aren’t locked down.
✅ Every citation must be checked. Attorneys must personally verify every case and statute cited in a court filing. No more fake cases made up by AI.
✅ Courts will know. Lawyers must tell the court when AI was used to prepare a filing.

At @robertsjeandronlaw we were already following these rules and have implemented an AI policy to protect our clients.

What a day at “Masters in Trial,” presented by the Orange County chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates @oc_abota! Partner Michael Jeandron joined the plaintiff’s team, led by @refjeffesq for a full-day demonstration trial, from opening statement to closing argument, at UC Irvine School of Law.

For the record, the plaintiffs lost. Also, for the record, the defense wrote the script. We’re not saying the deck was stacked, we’re just saying we’d like a rematch with our own fact pattern. 😉

Huge thanks to lunch speaker Jonathan Shapiro, former U.S. Attorney, co-creator of Goliath, and writer on The Practice and Boston Legal, and to our fellow plaintiff’s team members Garrett Chambers, Dan Hodes, Jennifer Russell, and Geoff Rill.
