A strong legal community is built by people who show up for one another.

Roberts Jeandron is proud to sponsor the Orange County Korean American Bar Association’s 21st Annual Installation Dinner. We look forward to celebrating OCKABA’s leadership and connecting with colleagues for an evening featuring keynote speaker the Honorable Anna Y. Park.

What a day at “Masters in Trial,” presented by the Orange County chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates @oc_abota! Partner Michael Jeandron joined the plaintiff’s team, led by @refjeffesq for a full-day demonstration trial, from opening statement to closing argument, at UC Irvine School of Law.

For the record, the plaintiffs lost. Also, for the record, the defense wrote the script. We’re not saying the deck was stacked, we’re just saying we’d like a rematch with our own fact pattern. 😉

Huge thanks to lunch speaker Jonathan Shapiro, former U.S. Attorney, co-creator of Goliath, and writer on The Practice and Boston Legal, and to our fellow plaintiff’s team members Garrett Chambers, Dan Hodes, Jennifer Russell, and Geoff Rill. And congratulations to the defense team, led by Jennifer Leeper, with Jeff Braun, Doug DeGrave, Seymour Everett, Allison Grandy, and Elizabeth Kolar, on a well-earned (and well-scripted) win.

Stronger arguments. Fresh perspectives. More tools to take back to the courtroom.

Thank you to everyone who joined our latest OCTLA CLE and to our speakers for sharing the experience and practical insights that help fellow trial attorneys better serve their clients.

And to our sponsors—thank you for investing in this community and making opportunities like this possible. 👏

Jeff Roberts, put to the test. A rapid-fire round of this or that to reveal the person behind the practice. ⚖️

Which answers do you agree with, and which caught you by surprise?

Proud of our co-founder and trial attorney, Garrett Chambers, for participating on the Plaintiff’s Team at OC ABOTA’s Masters in Trial. The program gave law students and attorneys an opportunity to observe experienced trial lawyers demonstrate the preparation, strategy, and courtroom advocacy that go into presenting a case to a jury.
