Tracy Deonn is grace, elegance, compassion, and intelligence, and a born-storyteller. What an incredible individual. I was rendered a stuttering, bumbling, mess. Her and Bree have the shared talent of leaving me at a loss for words due to their sheer brilliance.
(And I am NOT a typically shy person, yall…)

Oathbound is out now, everybody.💙❤️💜⚔️ by @layondrowslibrary

The author of my favorite book of all time walking up to me and liking my costume for her character… yeah, this is possibly the coolest thing that’s ever happened to me, hands down. Team Bree forever 🙌🏼 taken in Linden Tree Children's Books by @layondrowslibrary

Spring has sprung? I loved this book I finished today. I see why people told me to read this after watching Sinners! And this was published back in 2020, too, mind you…

My apologies for taking so long to finish this crazy trilogy— in my defense, I was expecting more from the first book. The second and third, however, made me quite literally eat my words. 10/10. Maybe I should check out the show too, I heard it’s good.

🏟️FUTBOLISTA, by Jonny Garza Villa—

If you liked Red, White, and Royal Blue, but wish it was Brown-as-fuck fútbol, over war-criminal nepotism (cuz ur a bad bitch like that)? Then you GOTTA get your hands on this one.

Thank you @lalunelit_ and @levinequerido for one of the best sports romances I’ve had the pleasure of reading.

This book was FIRE, and y’all KNOW I don’t lie about book reviews. It contained all the adrenaline of a real fútbol game and slide-tackled the intersectional identities of queer, Latino athletes. I eventually did have to quit football when I became a young adult— all for the sake of having to “choose”.

May we all live in a world one day where football can reciprocate the love that we give to it.

This book was funny, heartfelt, and gay as fuck, and I am convinced that everyone could use a book like this to yank them outta their reading slump.

Thank you @jonnyinstas for writing this. I was so busy trying to survive, it healed a part of me I’d forgotten about in the process of it all. I’ll always love fútbol, and myself. I could love both. by @layondrowslibrary
