Brazil was so beautiful. Brazil was also so hard. The biggest lesson I learned was that my emotions do not have to keep me from accomplishing the mission that God has set before me, and if they do, it is because I have allowed them to. When moments were really hard, God gave me a strength, grace, and joy that only could have come from His Spirit. I know that this lesson is one I will apply for the rest of my life, and I am thankful to have learned it. by @layton.evans

Uno más
In June of last year I went back to Teupasenti on a missions trip, this time with my entire family. While on this trip my mom taught the children at the biggest care center we served at how to make loom band bracelets. In the process they would miss a step and my mom would say to them “uno más,” which made all the kids giggle. As the week went on though, God spoke to my mom through those sweet and silly interactions about “uno más” and He told her that truly the life of a believer is about the “one more.” She told our team “It’s one more girl. One more boy. One more step of obedience.” That is the call of a believer. One more step towards God, one more act of faith, one more invite, one more smile, one more intentional word. God does not need us to know the whole plan and complete everything as if we’re following an instruction manual. He asks us to take just one more step of obedience at a time. God uses these simple steps of obedience to reach the one more. by @layton.evans
