Book review: The Inn at the foot of Mount Vengeance by @chiarabullenauthor

Recommended: cosy fantasy lovers, fantasy readers, found family seekers, and people wanting a light and heartwarming story.

This book was very lovely and has a very strong second half that pulls all the threads together in a beautiful ending.

Would you handle realising your life’s ambition isn’t what you thought it was? I know I’d struggle!!

Little bloopers reel courtesy of Loki - my needy little chaos gremlin!

Do you have something or someone in particular that makes content creation difficult sometimes? 😅

I love my little interrupter 🥰

Book review: Poison Well by @j.kdivia

Recommended for: horror readers, Celtic folklore lovers, eerie vibe seekers, traditional fairytale lovers.

This was a beautiful story with a quiet power to it that I really enjoyed. I can’t wait to read the rest of Divia’s work.

Do you like books based off traditional folklore?

Bookshelf reorganisation!

I hope you find this relaxing. I had a little rollercoaster in the middle there but happy overall now 🥰

Do you like reorganising your shelves or do it only when you absolutely have to?

Thank you to @sunloverreefcruises for an absolutely amazing experience! Crew were all so amazing and knowledgable!

Loved the glass boat tour where we saw Chippy (sea turtle) and we saw Wallie the groper while snorkelling! Helicopter tour back was also amazing to see the reef from the air!

I cannot rate this highly enough - bucket list item checked off the list!

What’s your number one TBR for the rest of 2026?

Please tag me if you do this to so I can see your hopefuls 🙏♥️

Blind date with a book from @paperchainbookstore 🙌♥️

I’m obsessed with blind dates with a book haha they’re so much fun, don’t you think? And this one was some excellent quality!

Despite my inability to pronounce words - I’m super excited for this book. I really like gothic tales.

Do you like blind dates with books or do you prefer knowing what you’re getting?

Tagged by @steamy_chapters (thanks!!) to do a favourites edges stack! This was a tough one but after umming and ahhing - it looks like my favourite edges are bold and/or bright and highly detailed.

Thanks for the tag and if anyone wants to try this challenge please tag me so I can see your amazing stacks too 🙏🙏

Books:
- Tide Child series by @rj.barker (@thebrokennbinding)
- The Mask Falling by @say_shannon (the broken binding)
- The Poet Empress by @storygoose (@illumicrate)
- Jade War by @fonda.lee (broken binding)
- Sunbringer by @hanfrankan (illumicrate)
- Mortedant’s Peril by @rj.barker (broken binding)
- The Sword of Kaigen by M L Wang (@pageandwick)

What’s your favourite edge? Or do you think special editions are overrated? (Fair opinion 😅)
