The Long Beach Guardians want to thank everyone who helped make the Gerrin Hagen Memorial Hockey Day so special. From the volunteers who made the day run seamlessly, to every single person who showed up to support @g2hfoundation and be part of something bigger than the game.

A special thank you to @torontofirehockeyclub for making the trip, battling with us on the ice, and truly embodying what this day and what Gerrin stands for: family, community, friendship, and competition.

Shoutout as well to @fdnyhockeyteam and @nassaucountypd for helping bring the energy and crowd.

We’re still overwhelmed by the love and camaraderie that filled the Long Beach Ice Arena this past Saturday and are honored to have taken part in such a meaningful day. To come away with the win, makes it extra special.

More importantly, we’re proud to continue to “Guard” Gerrin’s Legacy ❤️⚔️☘️

Tomorrow is the Big Day! Join us at the Long Beach Ice Arena as our community comes together to remember, honor, and celebrate Gerrin Michael Hagen.

It is a day full of activities and raffles for families, friends and fans. Get there early, stay all day and be a part of something special in Long Beach.

Be sure to cheer on the Long Beach Guardians as we take on the Toronto Fire Department, @torontofirehockeyclub, at 5:00pm.

Let’s come together, like we always do, and make Gerrin proud.

This Sunday, February 22nd, the puck drops at 2:00 pm as the Long Beach Guardians Hockey Club takes the ice against the NYPD Hockey Club, @nypdhockey. We are proud to play this game in support of The Pink Fund and in memory of Krystal Strouse.

The game will serve as one of the Guardians warm-up games in preparation leading up to our big event, The Gerrin Hagen Memorial Hockey Day (@g2hfoundation). That special day in Long Beach is on Saturday, April 11th, and this year our opponent is the Toronto Fire Department, @torontofirehockeyclub. We are very excited to showcase our on-ice product and are continuing to prepare in the weeks ahead.

Introducing the Long Beach Guardians Hockey Club, formed in collaboration with @g2hfoundation . Established in 2023, we play in honor of Gerrin Michael Hagen, who tragically passed away on January 13, 2023. Gerrin was the Captain of the Long Beach High School Hockey Team, the Long Beach Marines. He played the game selflessly, skillfully and with a sense of love for the sport that inspired everyone around him. We are proud and honored to continue his legacy by playing the way he did, the “Long Beach” way; with heart, leadership and integrity in every shift. #LiveLikeGerrin taken in LongBeach IceArena by @lbguardianshc
