Give me 30 days, and I’ll build a linebacker from the ground up🪖

We’ll start where most people never look is the foundation.
How you move. How you process the game.
Because before you can dominate, you have to control your base.

We will get into technique by progressively introducing new facets of each aspect.

IQ will be about becoming an elite run stopper.

And finally, we will introduce situational drills so we are game ready !

Pattern recognition= Game speed ⚡️

When your mind locks onto patterns fast, your body moves before thought.
That’s why we drill pattern recognition through film and reaction training on the computer
rewiring how you SEE the game before you move.

📍 Instant recognition = instant reaction = real speed
And yes ! this can be trained.

Playing Defense is weak!!!
Be the aggressor!

Master your feet and you won’t have to worry about missing a tackle.

The approach and the mindset is what makes a great tackler!

I enjoyed seeing @logan.w55 and @joel.nyandoro dominating the open field tackling periods.

Put your focus on building the mental and physical attributes to lead your defence.

Put an extra focus on the run because this is where you will be important to your team.

You need to understand pass schemes but your task on coverage is simple. Just work your eyes 👀

Transitional Footwork ⏱️
