Fiskars Summer Festival with @leadfoundationfinland

Beautiful 10 days in Fiskars this summer alongside @jacobus_conductor @kentaromachida.conductor @haug_nina_conductor @korbinian_krol @404xiao_

It was a huge privilege to perform with the absolute legend @mezzocargill and brilliant @otto_antikainen

Thanks so much to @jpsaraste @vasily__petrenko @dima_slobodeniouk @silvergoatee54 @sarah_osa1 for their mentorship and guidance throughout the course, and the whole team at LEAD. Loved working with this orchestra, with incredible players from all over the world, and invaluable advice and support from @mikkopekkasvala @niamhmckenna.flute @camkjoll and many more.

We are still over the moon about the latest edition of Fiskars Summer Festival!

Here is a clip of one of our chamber music concerts, where our young musicians and their mentors took on one of the most challenging pieces in all classical music repertoire, Beethoven's Grosse Fuge.

What makes our festival special? Among other things it's the warm, welcoming atmosphere, a friendly smile when arriving to the rehearsals in the morning, and great food.

A heartfelt thank you to the Fiskars Martha Association for taking such great care of us once again. Your generosity and hospitality make the Fiskars Summer Festival feel like home. ❤️

Sunnuntai oli tulkintojen juhlaa Konserttitalolla ⚡️

Turun konserttitalon otti haltuun Fiskars Festival Orchestra, johtajinaan Jukka-Pekka Saraste ja LEAD! Foundation Finland -mestarikurssin nuori kapellimestari 2026, Nina Haug. Solistina kuultiin häikäisevä Karen Cargill ✨

Konsertti oli vauhdikas matka neljän säveltäjän maailmaan klassikoista nykyhetkeen, jossa Beethovenin dramaattisesta jännitteestä edettiin Wagnerin herkkyyteen ja sisäiseen kaipuuseen. Tarkiaisen energinen teos ravisteli, ja Dvořákin sinfonia nosti yleisön kohti valoa ja vapauttavaa huipennusta 🌅

Kiitos Jukka-Pekka, Karen, Nina, Fiskars Festival Orchestra ja LEAD! 🩷
