Celeste is nearing completion!

I've done a lot since I last posted this.
- Jacket is complete.
- Sleeves are dyed, painted, and attached.
- Patterned and sewed the belt with custom quilted fabric
- added one of the biggest bows I've ever made (it's held together with buckram and 8 gauge wire)

Not much left to finish this!

Water dragon

There was this shishi-odoshi fountain on the wisteria set at AX and I had to get a photo with it. It took us several tries to get this right. My headpiece is so big, it made laying down difficult!

I've been busy painting stars 🌟✨

Celeste has so many custom patterns and I had a long weekend. So the patterns are all hand drawn and painted using Lumiere metallic paints.

The falling star skirt is dyed using dye-na-flow, a foam wedge, and a lot of water to make it look like watercolor. Set that using the sunshine then painted the stars on that one too

So many stars! It's the majority of them but I still have more painting to do later. For now, time to assemble the jacket

Starting a new project! Celeste from Animal Crossing but Lolita style to go with my ouji-style Blathers!

Friend gave me a bunch of Lolita designs and here's what we came up with!

So far, I've finished the shirt and skirt. The jacket mock-up is finished now too. It caused trouble because of course I had to draw oversized lapels and attach the capelet in the seams.

Currently the mock-up is taken apart on my desk to start sewing and fabric painting! There's an order of operations when assembling this jacket so gonna work on this in pieces and weird steps! I'm excited about painting all the star details

Waiting for Mr. Oasis

Fun story. I was watching "Murder, She Wrote", and one episode took place in the Queen Mary. Several scenes took place on the Observation Deck. And guess where I am in this photo? The Observation Deck where that scene was filmed! It was cool to see the same place on TV (just with more people)

May actually finished this time ✅

This outfit is made almost completely from whatever I had. Two tank tops sewn together, layered shorts (shortened the white pair), wig from previous May cosplay, and whatever materials I had in my stash. I only bought the belt buckle, yellow webbing, and the game controller lining.

I made most of this quickly for AX but never finished the bag. This bag is roomy and has pockets on the inside. The belt buckle is an official kid's belt that I repainted black. I added a big felt zipper to grab more easily and to match the larger Pokemon zipper style. The green on the side are pockets good for little cards and such.

I had to repair the headband after the Con as the wire slipped from repeatedly hitting it on literally everything haha. It's more secure now

Black Lobelia is complete ✅

I really don't know how Gojo made this so quickly. This cosplay required so much tailoring to get that corset and jacket to sit right plus creating a seamless full circle skirt with ruffles only on the outside. It took me over a month but she's complete now!

New additions are a choker with a thermoplastic gem suspended with fishing line. Added spandex gloves, boots, and high-waisted battle panties because that gives you more power in battle.
