AHHH thank youuuu sooo much to @jay_phoenix_cos for these gorgeous stage shots!!! 💖💖I still can't believe I was in the masquerade at Fanime after not competing in a masquerade in person since 2011 🥲. I had the best experience, both on and off the stage (and even leading up to the con meeting all my fellow competitors, staff, and supporters!!) I'm so proud of this cosplay, and I was so excited to show it off, and I still can't believe I won an award!! There were sooo many incredible cosplays this year- it was an honor to share the stage with you all!!!
I hope I was very kira kira on stage, both literally and figuratively 🥰✨️💖 also I get emotional every time I see shots from the awards ceremony, thank you @jay_phoenix_cos for capturing those moments, too 🥹💖💖✨️

It’s ALA recap timeee!! Yippeeee!! 🎉🎉🎉

While our ALA this year wasn’t plagued by wildfires, we still certainly had a very busy ALA!

This year, we debuted 2 new cosplay panels on video editing and surviving Masquerades! We got great reception on both of them and we want to thank to our panelists (@allnightercosplay @chibbycookie , @jay_phoenix_cos , and @sphagnos ) for helping us out, especially last minute. 😄
We also hosted our ever-so-popular walk-ons panel, and we always enjoy bringing this panel to cons due to how much fun and audience interaction we get to have!

Next the Masquerade and oh boy was the competition STACKED this year!! It was so much fun to watch, and all the entries were amazing! In the end we won BEST MUSICAL for our Fullmetal Alchemist skit, which we’re so honored to receive! 🏆

We want to thank the judges (@yayahan , @kirileecosplay , and @hokuprops ) for being so kind, patient, and knowledgeable during judging and giving us such helpful feedback. Thank you to the Masq directors (@katrina_leonoudakis , @rennacosplay , and @crimsoncleric ) for working with our 9-person group (we know we had the largest team in the masquerade oops!), all the Masq staff for putting together a great show and taking care of our team backstage, all of our friends who came to the Masq to support us, and all the audience for cheering us on!
We of course want to thank our team (@robot_unichuck_cosplay : @allnightercosplay @chibbycookie @charcoaldaydreams @theo_of_the_atmosphere @pogurt @castle_the_spanky and Crow), for working so hard, going along with all our wild ideas, putting a ton of effort into your cosplays and choreography, and attending all of our rehearsals! What team?? RUC!! 🦄🌈🏀

Lastly, it was so SO nice to meet and chat with so many friends this ALA! We don’t go to a lot of cons, and we know we’re usually super busy and running around the con like crazy, so it was really great to see those that we usually just interact with online. To the friends we met in-person, it was so nice to chat with you and hopefully we can meet up again at a future con!

ALA Recap!! 🎉🎉🎉

It’s certainly been the most surreal con we’ve attended. Our ALA was kicked off with wildfires, windstorms, and no power leading up to the event, causing us to miss the first day. Luckily we were able to stay safe, and we still managed to finish our masquerade cosplays (in the dark) and bring them to ALA for the masquerade!

We honestly weren’t expecting to win anything because of how stacked the ALA Masquerade always is, but we won Best Comedy Performance for our Castlevania skit!! We are so honored to receive this award because ALA was the first ever con where we participated in a masquerade, and this award comes exactly 10 years after our last time winning an award at ALA.

We want to thank the judges (@aicosu , @athel_artistry , and sarahspaceman ) for being so kind and patient with us during judging, the ALA masquerade director for working around our hectic schedule, the audience for cheering us on, all the ALA masquerade staff for putting together a great show and taking care of our team backstage, and all of our friends who came to the masquerade to support us!!
We also want to thank our team (@robot_unichuck_cosplay ), as always, for working so hard, going along with all our wild ideas and choreography, and attending all of our rehearsals! We did it, team!

Also, besides the masquerade, we held three panels! We really loved the warm reception we got for each one, and wow were they all packed! Thank you to everyone who came to our panels and enjoyed them! We hope you learned something and had fun. Also, shoutout to our panel helpers! We really appreciated all your help. 😄

Lastly, ALA has always been one of our favorite cons, and the community is so welcoming. This year, we’re so happy that we got to meet many online friends in-person for the first time, and also catch up with friends we met at previous cons. Despite the crisis at the beginning of the con, getting to mingle with everyone really lifted our spirits, and we’re glad we got to hand out so many ribbons! 🎉🎉🎉

Rose city comic con 2024!!! Always one of my fav cons of the year. I had such a good time all three days. Aloy was such a fun build to both make and compete in and the entire contest as a whole was just *chiefs kiss* everyone looked amazing and I had just an amazing time. Will be bringing Aloy back out hopefully next year will see what way the wind blows. Also getting to meet Tom Glynn-Carney was amazing! He is beyond lovely and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! He was super excited to wear the crown I had and joked about forgiving me since I was dressed in the same outfit aemond wears when he 🔥 his brother. I’ll have some nice shoots of aloy to post soon so watch out for those overall big hugs and love to everyone I hung out with this weekend!

Someone explain to me how Rohan can be the most cat coded person and yet own a dog, it makes no sense.
When I heard about @kakyoin_the_traveller doing a jojo cats collab I couldn’t not be involved!! Cats and jojos are two of my favorite things 😆 Zinda is by no means a trained model but she did a pretty good job after I bribed her with treats. I tried to rope my other cat Rue into this too but as predicted she did not last very long being held. This was a fun project to participate in and everyone’s cat photos turned out so cute!!
