⚔️Our very first festival is officially in the books—and it was nothing short of a dream. A sold-out crowd of 10,000 people showed up, and we are beyond grateful. 🙌🏾✨

Huge thank you to @cousinzfestival @realantonio_ @hitmybeeper @kingpush for making us part of history and always pushing us to higher platforms. To @haveagoodday.studio @ethelgrace.d @babyginny —you are truly the best in the game.

⚔️ We were honored to serve on the host committee and as judges for the 2024 Hirshhorn Museum Ball @hirshhorn , celebrating world-renowned Brazilian artists OSGEMEOS @osgemeos and their largest U.S. museum exhibition to date. OSGEMEOS: The Endless Story, curated by Marina Isgro @misgro with support from CJ Greenhill Caldera @malinchesrevenge , opens today, kicking off a year-long retrospective. This immersive exhibit spans the entire third-floor gallery of the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, featuring approximately 1,000 works, including photographs, archival materials, paintings, sculptures, and installations that incorporate light, movement, music, and the magic of their universe. A special thanks to Hirshhorn Director @melissawchiu , and her incredible staff, especially @kglovesdc and @missannereeve , for including us in this extraordinary event.⚔️

Artist Daniel Arsham’s(@danielarsham) art studio is a creative space where art, architecture, and design come together. His work often takes everyday objects and transforms them into something that feels ancient or mysterious. He is interested in how objects might look if they were discovered hundreds or thousands of years in the future.

Arsham uses materials such as crystal, stone, plaster, and volcanic ash to give his sculptures an aged, almost archaeological feeling. A familiar object, like a phone or toy, can suddenly look like a relic from another civilization. This makes his work feel both familiar and futuristic at the same time.

What makes Arsham’s studio interesting is the freedom to experiment. It is not simply a place where sculptures are made, but a space where different ideas about time, architecture, and culture come together. His work encourages people to look at ordinary objects in a completely different way. taken in New York by @leagueoto

Larry Warsh(@cartdept) known for collecting artists before they became widely recognized spoke about his collection with @art and @artcollector. He began collecting seriously in New York in the 1980s and became an early collector of artists like Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring. His first Basquiat painting, Jawbone, was purchased in 1982 for $10,000. Warsh has said that his collecting is less about following the market and more about understanding why an artist and their work are important.

One of the highlights of Warsh’s collection is his group of Keith Haring subway drawings. Haring made these drawings in New York subway stations in the early 1980s, and Warsh spent years collecting them. He eventually assembled 31 subway drawings, creating one of the most important collections of Haring’s subway work. His collection also includes artists such as Ai Weiwei, Kenny Scharf, KAWS, Daniel Arsham, Esther Mahlangu, and many contemporary Chinese artists. He also has a collection of dozens of artist-created art cars, featuring artists including Barbara Kruger, Marina Abramović, Damien Hirst, and Rashid Johnson.

What makes Warsh’s collection stand out is that it feels like a record of art history rather than simply a collection of expensive objects. He collected Haring and Basquiat when they were still developing their careers and has continued supporting artists whose work he believes will last. He has also lent and donated works to museums, allowing more people to experience them.
