Central Residencies has been built for Hurricanes, the first floor is actually on the second floor (that's how high up it is) Built for flooding. It has a huge perimeter wall of cinder blocks and concrete around it with water outlets.

My concern is for people living in structures that are not built like this. The people building their cute little casitas as they can afford it. Please pray for them they have worked soooo hard. Very resilient people who just keep working and building their lives.

I am very proud to say we have a lot of generous people from Saskatchewan who donate to charities to help the disadvantaged in Puerto Vallarta. $30,000 to an orphanage was our last one. I am sure if there are needs we will crowd fund again.

I am completely overwhelmed with emotion at seeing The Sassi di Matera. It is a MUST MUST see.

Matera is famous for its ancient cave dwellings called the Sassi, making it one of the oldest continuously inhabited human settlements in the world.

Its biblical, rugged landscape has turned it into a famous filming location for movies like The Passion of the Christ and the James Bond film No Time to die.
