Reintroducing myself and what I’m really building here.

My first-ever aesthetic treatment was BBL by Sciton. I was a model for a training, had no idea what I was getting into, but the second I saw the results? I was hooked.

That’s where it all started for me. I was taught energy-based devices, lasers, and injectables. I’m grateful for that foundation and I respect the artistry of it all. But I was always more drawn to skin treatments that build transformation over time.

I’m officially a Clinical Specialist for Sciton- one of the leaders in laser science and skin technology.

What makes this moment especially meaningful is how full-circle it feels.
My very first aesthetic treatment ever was BBL by Sciton. That single experience opened a door for me, it sparked my love for skin, lasers, and the science behind real, long-term results. Years later, BBL became one of the treatments that shaped my career and clinical approach.

To now be stepping into a specialist role with the same company that inspired my journey from the beginning… it’s surreal, humbling, and something my younger self would be so proud of.

And the timing aligns perfectly with where I am today at The Plump Room- a space that values expertise, intention, and elevated care. Being part of this team has allowed me to grow, refine my craft, and bring a level of precision and customization that I’m truly proud of.

Melasma humbles everyone, including me. I’ve been treating pigment for years and I still have my own, so I know there’s no magic setting and no one and done.

What I’ve learned is that melasma reacts to everything, heat, hormones, stress, inflammation. So with her, we’re training her skin slowly. Gentle controlled injury with microneedling and a Linder Health peel, homecare adjusted to manage pigment from different pathways, and a calmer healing response before we ever bring in MOXI.

She is a mom of three who has given everything to everyone around her, and she showed up for herself anyway. Her consistency at home will continue to improve her results & you can see for yourself.

Every injector has that one patient she’s still not sure how to treat. Which devices to stack, in what order, how far to push it.

Nobody tells you that the hardest part of this industry isn’t the skill. It’s having people who keep showing up for you when you’re not showing up for yourself.

Steph @theplumproom and Melody @thebizpeople are those people for me. Their belief doesn’t change with my mood, my bad weeks, or my doubts. They push me into the uncomfortable stuff, and honestly, in the moment I don’t always love it. Or them. 😅 But every single time, they were right, because they saw something in me before I did.

That’s the real secret. Not the next device, not the next training. Your people.

Baked By Light 🎂

That is how I explain BBL to my clients, and once they hear it, they never forget it. Your skin has layers, just like a cake.

The brown from summer sits in one layer, the redness and little vessels sit in another, and the texture and tone live a little deeper. So I don’t use one light for everything. I change the filter for each layer, and we bake it low and slow and even.
and the recipe always changes, because your skin tone, your history, and what your skin is going through right now decide the settings. never a menu.

The prep is the batter, the BBL is the bake, and your homecare is the frosting. all three together are what get you the glow. This is the part of my job I love most. watching someone’s skin get calmer, brighter, and more like themselves, session after session.

Nobody really posts about the in between. The partnership that didn’t work out. Going solo and realizing that running everything meant missing the things I care about most, like being there for my son. I always knew I wanted to work with Steph, but the timing was never right until it was. Now I’m part of an amazing team at The Plump Room, still treating the skin I love, and training providers for Sciton because I truly believe in their technology. Stubborn just means you wait for the right version of your dream. If you’ve ever been told you were too stubborn and it turned out to be your superpower, comment STUBBORN 😌
