Styled with fine Batik Peranakan from Pekalongan, Indonesia — a highly complex textile tradition that can take more than six weeks to produce, preserved today by only a small number of master artisans.

A black tailored jacket with dangling contrast stitch detailing. Gunmetal spheres and buttons combined with reclaimed beads embellish the collar and lapel, creating movement and light against the dark surface.

Worn with an Indonesian sarong in the Sidomukti Garuda motif, a traditional pattern symbolizing prosperity, harmony, and dignity. The Garuda, a mythical bird, represents strength, protection, and divine power.

Crafted from @scarto.ig Italian deadstock fabrics. The under-collar and chest are adorned with reclaimed beads from unsold evening dresses. Each bead was taken apart, regrouped, and re designed into a completely new composition - giving forgotten materials a second life.
