It was an absolute delight to present "The Rise of Agentic AI: What It Means for #Climate Innovation" during Climate Week at @columbiaengineering! We love the way Kara Lamb (LEAP's #AI + Science Director) put it: "With the application of machine learning more broadly to science ... we can see links between, say, atmospheric #physics and similarities to problems in astrophysics or biology, and the way they solve those problems. Now, with #agentic workflows, we can see the meta-science of what really are the fundamental problems and the links between fields, and we can really have #progress across multiple different directions." One of the delights of LEAP's #Education programming has been our annual Summer Institute on Climate Education. For the past three years, #NYC public school teachers at the elementary, middle, and high school levels have gathered to receive training and professional development in incorporating climate education into their curricula.
