Earlier this year I had the sweetest opportunity to pour into a part of my community that is too often neglected – our queer elders.

Five beautiful conversations across generations, The SAGE Is In was created as an emotional holding space for our elders and the younger generation to exchange valuable knowledge, share their lived experiences and find meaningful connection with each other. You can find the full exchanges as they roll out over the next few weeks on @sageusa platforms.

Thank you SAGE, for over 40 years of advocacy, support, resources and community for our queer elders. What a gift it is to play a small part in the work you do to champion the voices of our elders and foster this space. Especially during a time in which we are continually silenced. Hearing from them and gaining wisdom from their experiences will forever be invaluable.
