POSTS STORIES REELS
I have spent years supporting others in telling their stories shaping their voices, refining their presence and holding space for their visibility. All while quietly hiding behind my own. Wooommmppp woooommmppppp!!! You see… hiding… is a tension I know very intimately. Many of us are brilliant at service to others, yet we conveniently forget service to ourselves. This sometimes is because you may feel as if visibility feels like exposure, like you will need to put on a mask to show up or that you still feel invisible in your own work. If you support others for a living and still struggle to be seen yourself… I get it. Truly… This is why my approach to visibility is gentle, grounded and deeply human. Not performative nor uncomfortable. If this resonates with you, my door (aka DM) is open for what the first step would look like. You don’t have to figure it out alone 💕 by @learntocharm
Repeat after me… Pretty branding gets attention for a time. Meaningful branding builds lasting impressions and connections. Wouldn’t you say the choice is an obvious one. 🙂‍↔️ Brand storytelling isn’t about sounding impressive. It is about the feelings it awakens. How do I know this? Weellllll… For over a decade, I have supported founders, marketing representatives and MSMEs in bringing their brands + efforts together with clarity and care. This involves co-ordinating photoshoots; managing content copy; conceptualizing websites; organizing launches and navigating everyday touch points with extreme thoughtfulness, so that NOTHING feels disjointed or empty. This is calculated, intentional work. Built on co-creation, respect and trust. Not hype. Not trends. Not shortcuts. So, if you want a brand that makes a hefty visual impression and feels real… then sweet thang… you’re in the right place. If you’re seeking quick fixes, pick me vibes and bypasses, then I’m not your person. Buuuuuttttttt… if you’re ready to shape your story and captivate… it’s safe to say we can vibe. You don’t have to do this alone anymore. Here’s your soft landing… by @learntocharm
Gladys is beyond excited for this amazing new level that has been unlocked for my star client turned friend @simfiguresitout with her wonderful brand @cradleoflifelactation Words are not enough to express my contentment. by @learntocharm
This is a landmark that brought me unfiltered shame for many years. Seeing my daughter standing in that same spot recently made me feel something different (It’s a little long but stay with me here… yuh attention span need di likkle workout☺️). ⁣ ⁣ My grandmother was an insanely gifted seamstress.⁣ 🪡 Her hands could make almost anything.⁣ When her eyesight began failing and she was no longer able to fulfill her orders as a seamstress, she resorted to selling newspaper right here at this bus stop a few minutes away from May Pen, Clarendon. For years, this was a part of my story I didn’t enjoy talking about and I tried to erase. Shame woulda chokehold mi blouse cup!!! ⁣ At the time I just didn’t (couldn’t) understand how often talent goes unseen, unsupported or simply interrupted by life. My embarrassment prevented me from seeing the woman who kept showing up, despite the agony she must have felt when her gifts were no longer able to make room for her in the way she was accustomed. It’s a pity that pivoting wasn’t trending at the time. ⁣SMH. ⁣ Since my recent interaction over the holidays with said bus stop, I’ve been thinking about persons who (just like she was) may be carrying brilliance quietly. I question how many creatives, spark carriers and builders have learned to survive instead of shine. Also, about how many talents have been buried out of a response to unfavourable circumstances. How again… like her they were also never able to be reconciled before that person left this Earth.⁣ ⁣ Some stories take time to understand.⁣ This one… is teaching me how to see differently. I’m hoping I can pass this message on to at least one person who REALLY needs to hear/read/see this… and that is, we have a responsibility to honour ordinary spaces + actions and turn them into experiences that carry meaning. That is how we build legacy. Purpose should never disappear when circumstances change. And dignity lives in consistency, not applause.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ by @learntocharm

Happy Thursday Charmers!!!! ✨✨✨ by @learntocharm
The marketplace is SATURATED!!! ⁣ And consumers are seeking to partner with only the best. Unfortunately, it can be extremely challenging to get in front of your ideal audience and keep their attention. One tested and proven way to win over your people is to build your legacy from the inside out. ⁣ ⁣ Here are some quick tips on how you can create a brand that persons actually adore. Adoration and respect fly high above fleeting trends and truly stand the test of time. It’s a no brainer that you should be working towards winning hearts in an impactful way… instead of simply chasing likes. by @learntocharm
Have you ever wished you could go back and tell yourself something you know now? It’s the same here. ⁣ ⁣ If I could, I’d tell my former self that none of my previous business ideas sucked as bad as I thought they did. And that one of the MAJOR things I was lacking, was a solid brand identity. ⁣🤯 ⁣ I hope you are able to understand the value of a brand identity from this post or develop a deeper appreciation for such. If you know anyone that will find this post useful, feel free to share as well as save it for your future reference. by @learntocharm
FULL TRANSPARENCY: There are days when I am convinced it’s time to throw in the towel. But for whatever reason, I am reminded that this is bigger than me. MUCH bigger than me. ⁣ ⁣ Last week one of my clients shared a big win and tears came to my eyes as I listened to her share her story. It caught me at a very low time when I was thinking maybe this crazy dream isn’t worth it. Her amazing win replenished my spirit and made me feel like I had a few more punches to put in.⁣ ⁣ When I say the success of my Charmers are my own… please know that’s not some sleazy sales pitch or empty marketing tool I use to appear to care. When hard working women who give their everything to their pursuits win… SO DO I!!!!!!! ⁣ Today I’m grateful for a fighting spirit and the will to go on. What are you grateful for? ⁣ ⁣ by @learntocharm
