Hyderabad 2025

The second leg of our year end trip was a truly unique experience. The highlight was definitely attending a Navjote ceremony. It was incredible to witness such a beautiful ritual where a child is formally welcomed into the Zoroastrian faith. Learning about the customs and the deep spiritual meaning behind the ceremony was fascinating. by @leashasonam

#memorysafekeeping

It was our 1st Zoroastrian function and we were introduced to the beautiful function of Niara's Navjote (Persian: سدره‌پوشی, sedreh-pushi ceremony) where our precious got initiated into the faith.

The pockets of memories- warmth of families, the conversations, the laughters, sharing of the meanings of the customs, the food but most importantly.. *touchwood* made us feel right at home.

A huge congrats to you both @berzidebara and Yazad !! 👏 Niara is so lucky to have you both as parents and it's not an easy feat planning all these ceremonies.. #1.5+years planning

We had the privilege to witness Niara growing from little munchkin to now a beautiful lady and @surendran and I are so happy to have witnessed a pivotal day ~ surrounded by 3 generations of her families, close friends and dear ones just showering her with lots of love and blessings.

Grateful and eternally thankful to you @berzidebara for having us be a part of this and I'm extremely grateful for our friendship!! ❤️❤️
