I shared about the character Bima with Veera in September 2023. From that point, he fully committed to the role, growing his beard and hair for six months before filming. Throughout this period, he truly became Bima, embracing every challenge, physically, mentally, and emotionally. His dedication and love for his craft are unmatched. On set, his discipline always stood out—arriving way earlier than the call time, always prepared, and consistently giving more than expected. There’s so much we can all learn from senior artistes. Above all, I’m grateful for his care; he joined the final shoot in Indonesia solely to ensure I was okay. I am deeply thankful that he came on board Karuvanam and brought Bima to life for us.

A special shout out to the make up and special effects team led by @rafil.k painstakingly transforming him into Bima every single time.

Catch @vigneshwadarajan’s explosive performance as Adhitya on Karuvanam. I’m really happy that he came on board this project and it was a great experience working together again after many years.

Karuvanam’s uncensored versions will streaming on YouTube from 9 October onwards. Save the date!

Remembering the tender moments in love and pain. Beginning with Guru and Radha, then Thamarai and Amrita - it has been a bittersweet journey. Thinking back on how far they’ve come from the beginning of Oh Butterfly, their reunion as Guru and Amrita feels destined. Would you guys want to see a spin-off series about them?

21st century kids may not remember how multi-talented Arvind Naidu is. A throwback to when the first iPhone was released in Singapore.
