Hey yall xx

As some of you know already, I’m transgender. I am now using she / her pronouns, and my new name is Léa Veillon.

It has been such a long road to self acceptance, and I’m so unbelievably grateful to all the women and queer people that have held my hand during what has been a really difficult period of self introspection. I could not have done it without you all xxxx

I am so excited to start living my life authentically and to share the journey with you all xxx

Huge shoutout to trans people! Everyone I have met in the past few years has inspired me to be brave, authentic and unapologetic. I owe it all to you ❤️

Hug your trans friends today. It’s a tough time for all of us, but I’m so glad we have each other xxx

What happens to the warrior when the war is over?

What is the war even about? Do you really know?

What are you a warrior of? Worry?

What good has war done for you and your enemies?

#IHadToGoToWarSoYouHaveToGoToWarToo #WhyDoWeHaveToFightForPeace #MarsInCancerThoughts

Titled: The Mortal Instrument

No arrows to shoot
No enemies to fight
Just a desolate wasteland flooded with echos of self-loathing, shame and guilt

A red dawn rises from the west
Painting the sky with blood of the innocent
Eyes locked in on the horizon of a new insight
Listen to the rhythm of a loving heart

Roots reach deep down into the dirt
Harnessing darkness into pillars of light
Shine now or fall to the rot
Shine now with all your might!

Words and styling - @melanffro

Photographed and edited by @louisveillon

“Lay your weapons down!
They’re calling off the war
On account of losing track
Of what we’re fighting for”
So we found our way back home
Let our cuts and bruises heal…
